Unaffiliated One Day Multi-Discipline Event:
Bury Farm will be running unaffiliated Dressage, Show Jumping & Arena Eventing (using rustic and working hunter jumps plus a water splash) on Saturday 25th July. Competitors may enter one, two or all three disciplines.
If competitors enter all the One Day Event they will ride their Dressage test first, followed by Show Jumping and finishing with Arena Eventing. Results will be calculated according to BE rules, i.e. show jumping and arena eventing faults will be added to the dressage total to provide a final score, lowest score wins. Refusals will be run under BS Club rules - third refusal = elimination.
Combined Training - A competitor rides their Dressage test before their Showjumping round at assigned times. Results will be calculated by SJ faults being deducted from their dressage score to provide a final score. The quickest showjumping place will determine the placings for those on an equal fiinal score. The Combined Training class will be run as a Pick Your Own - the SJ heights range from 50cm to 90cm.
If competitors wish to enter more than 1 discipline, please add this to your class notes when doing your entries so we can take this into consideration when doing the times.
Dressage will run in the outdoor sand arena, Showjumping will run in the International Indoor Arena & Arena Eventing phases will run in the Legacy Outdoor Arena.
Additional warm up will be available on grass surfaces
Competitors may enter single phases, i.e. Dressage or Show Jumping or Arena Cross Country, or enter all three disciplines to compete in the One Day Eventing competition.
All competitions will be run in the spirit of BD and BS Club rules.
The Showjumping and the Arena Eventing will be run as a Table A4 - A table A4 is just one round, with the whole round against the clock where combinations are placed on faults and time.
*** Safety First! We request that competitors adhere to BS/BD/BE rules with regards to wearing correct safety equipment in any discipline ridden at Bury Farm shows. Body protectors are mandatory for the Arena Eventing phase of the competition ***
