Ride and... Run for your life rules:
1) riders and runners to start and finish in start box.
2) riders to jump a short course of fences first followed by a runner to then jump round a short course of fences
3) riders must finish their round in the start box before the runner starts
4) runners can either be the rider (dismounted) or a team mate
5) fastest combined time overall wins
6) penalties for knocking or refusing fences still apply. 4 faults= 4 time pens.

Terrifying top score rules:
1) time starts when leaving the start box.
2) competitior jumps what obstacles they choose and may do so in either direction
3) the competitor scores the number of points allotted to each obstacle provided it is jumped clear. No points are scored for an obstacle knocked down.
4) an obstacle that is knocked down or displaced for any reason is not rebuilt. Includes the displacement of a lower element in the same vertical plane.
5) each obstacle maybe jumped twice to score. jumping a fence for a third or subsequent time or jumping an obstacle that is knocked or displaced will not incur elimination but will score no points.
6) disobediences will not be penalised since they decrease the time available in which to score. following a disobedience, competitor may attempt the obstacle again or choose a different one of their choice. a second or 9subsequent disobedience does not incur elimination but the judge may retire a competitor if it becomes apparent the repeated disobediences has destroyed all chance of the competitor featuring on the prize list.
7) the bell is rung once time allowed has been met. the competitor must return to start box to allow their time to be recorded. if they do not reach the start box, they will placed last of the competitor with the same number of points.
8) number of points allotted to the last obstacle jumped clear will be included in the competitors score provided the horse has already taken off when the time allowed has been reached.
9) jumping an additional obstacle/s after the bell has been rung will not incur penalties
10) additional joker fence to be included. significantly higher than the rest of the course. may be jumped twice to score. if jumped clear, 200 points will be added, if knocked down 200 points will be deducted.
11) in the event of a tie, time decides.

6 broom challenge rules
1) course compromises of two fences followed by a four verticals in a straight line with one non jumping stride between each fence. compromises of poles only.
2) obstacles increase in height at each round.
3) judged under table A not against the clock with a time limit of two minutes.
4) if an obstacle is disturbed as a result of a disobedience, the bell will be rung to re build the fence. no time penallty is incurred. 1011
5) in the event of equality of four faults for first place there will be four successive jump-offs not against the clock. the first jump-off will be over all 6 fences. the course may be reduced progressively for each further jumpoff to a minimum of three fences.
6) the judge at their discretion may terminate the competition after the third jump off. in the event of fauts in the final jump-off competitors are placd equal.
7) competitors who withdraw from or retire during a jumpoff are placed equal with those who are eliminated in the same jump-off .
8) distances will be set for horses. ponies can enter at their own risk
