Vehicles are not allowed on the showground before 7am. Competitors MUST comply with the parking stewards instructions. Anyone failing to comply will be asked to leave the showground with no entry fee refunded.

Open to Mountain and Moorland Ridden Stallion (Intermediate Class only) Mare or Gelding 4 years old and over. Registered in their approved Pure Breed Society Stud Books of Connemara, Dartmoor, Dales, Exmoor, Fells, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A,B,C or D. The Highest placed exhibit not already qualified within the first five will qualify for the UK Ponies and Horses Ltd RIHS Young Riders M&M Ridden. The Highest placed pony not already qualified within the first five will qualify for the UK Ponies & Horses Ltd. RIHS Amateur Riders M&M Finals at the RIHS Hickstead in July 2025. Qualification will be verified by the office.
Competitors qualifying at this show for the Agria Royal International Horse Show 22-27th July 2025 must submit their entries ONLINE at www.hickstead.co.uk/entries-results-schooling/the-agria-royal-international-horse-show. Schedules will be available to download in April. Online entries will be open on the 12th May and entries close on 2nd June 2025.

Competitors and all others attending the show are reminded of their obligations under Health & Safety legislation to adhere to any safety instructions of Stewards and Officials at all times and to adhere to any written instructions relating to safety.
Neither the BSPS and Area 11 or any of its Officers, Assistants or Stewards shall in anyway be responsible for any loss, injuries or damages that may happen to ex exhibitors or their assistants or other members of the public, or to any animal or property or to any vehicle bought to the Showground or on any premises used in conjunction with the show, or while entering or leaving the same.
It is necessary all Exhibitors carry Public Liability Insurance for an adequate Indemnity to protect against their negligence including any injury caused by their animals or property.
You accept being around horses and riding at any standard has inherent risk and that all horses may react unpredictably on occasions. You may fall off and could be injured, or be injured by another horse. By entering you accept these risks
It is advisable that you take out your own Personal Accident Insurance to cover you against the risks of injury.
Competitors shall be responsible for the behaviour of their Assistants and Riders and for the conduct of such persons and all persons in charge of exhibits shall be subject to instructions given by Judges and Stewards
BSPS Area 11 does not accept liability for any horse/pony brought to the Showground with no entry made.
