Entry Fees: £75 RVRC Members / £90 non-members

Rosettes: 1st – 8th place in each class. Rosette for highest placed RVRC member in each class.

The Freddie Kindersley Trophy will be presented, on the day, to the Rother Valley member with the best overall score from classes 1-6 (to be held for 1 year only).

There is also a prize for the highest placed oldest competitor from all classes and sections. Please state on the entry if you are eligible.

 

If you are unable to stay for the prizegiving then please leave a large SAE and £2 for dressage sheet and rosette.

Withdrawals/Refunds

 Rules and Conditions for Friends of Freddie Horse Trials

  • Organised and run under BRC and RVRC rules and conditions, full details on http://www.bhs.org.uk/enjoy-riding/british-riding-clubs/brc-handbook
  • Payment & completion of your entry is confirmation that you accept these rules.
  • Full refund given up until 21st June less £10 admin fee and booking fee. Thereafter, refunds will be given if a veterinary or doctors certificate are supplied, less £15 admin fee and booking fee.
  • Horses must not be left unattended whilst tied up to lorry/trailer.
  • Name and contact number to be left in windscreen of car/lorry.
  • Body protectors must be worn for the cross-country. It is your responsibility to ensure your hat and body protector meet current (2026) BRC standards. We exclude any liability for damage or injury claims if you fail to adhere to this.
  • No peaked hats of any sort allowed for XC.
  • Competitors to provide their own bib.
  • Stopwatches are allowed.
  • Children must be always supervised by an adult.
  • Please ensure your horse meets the current vaccination requirements of the venue.
  • We recommend that non BRC members have 3rd party insurance.
  • Times & numbers will be published 2 days before the event on Riding Club Results. Numbers must be collected at Secretary on the day where you will need to present your hat and body protector.
  • The course can be walked between 2pm-6pm on Saturday 11th July 2026.
  • Dressage tests available on https://www.britisheventing.com/dressage-tests
  • Once the results are published, any objections must be lodged with the secretary within 20 minutes.
  • The Officials’ decision is final.
