BRC Area 6 Dressage Qualifiers

Please note these qualifiers are held on grass arenas 

Cost is £18 per individual, prelim entries will be paid by SORC

 The classes will be as below:

  • CLASS 1 – Senior Dressage
    • Team and individual- 3 or 4 riders to ride 4 different tests –

  • CLASS 2 - Senior Open Dressage
    • Team and individual – 3 or 4 riders to ride 4 different tests –

      • Elementary 43 (2006)
  • CLASS 3 - Senior Intro
    • Individuals only to ride - Intro C (2016)
  • CLASS 4 – PYO
    • Individuals only:   Pick a Test Medium 61 (2002) or Advanced Medium 92 (2011)
  • CLASS 5 - Senior Riding Test
    • Teams of 3 or 4 (2 riders to ride prelim tests and 2 to ride novice tests)

 This event is a qualifier for National Championships (held at Lincoln Showground, LN2 2NA in Sep 2024)

If you would like to ride in a team please ensure you are available and willing to travel to the Championships – alternatively if you know you can’t make the championships and would like to complete please enter as an Individual. Should a team qualify it is helpful if we know all team members are committed to attending the championships. Depending on numbers members requesting a team place may still be entered as an individual and be able to qualify as an individual. 

Riding as a team or individual will be a fabulous day with great support from your fellow SORC members.  

Closing date for preliminary entries is 6th June 2024. Once entries close I will co-ordinate the teams, entries and communicate with all riders. 

Vaccinations & Microchips - Your horse will need to have a correct vaccination record and have had an ANNUAL Flu booster within the last 12 month - not less than 7 days before the competition though! All horses to have a readable microchip. If this is the first time your horse has competed in a team for SORC I may need a copy/photos of the passport as evidence.
