Withdrawals/Refunds

Those who withdraw in writing before the closing date will have their entry fee, less an administration fee of £4 per Class refunded. Entry fees in any other circumstances will not be refunded.    Entries will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis. 

Terms & Conditions

Horses and ponies must be 4 years old or over.  No stallions without specific permission.

British Showjumping Dress Code is applicable in all classes. 

The show jumping will be run under British Show Jumping Rules.  Correctly fitting hard hat manufactured to one of the minimum current standards (PAS 015 (2011) and VG1 with a kitemark, ASTM F1163: 2004a onwards with an SEI mark, SNELL E2016 with a SNELL label and number, AS/NZS 3838, from 2006 onwards with SAI global mark) with a three-point linkage properly adjusted and fastened, must be worn at all times when mounted at Snowball Farm.Classes will run as for Single Phase.  Competitors must make themselves aware of the rules of the competition and the qualifiers.

The judges’ and organisers decision is final.  Any objection must be made in writing with a £15 deposit, returnable if the objection is upheld.

We strongly recommend that competitors wear body protectors for jumping.  All children must wear body protectors while jumping.

Unaccompanied Competitors must provide the Show Organiser with a contact telephone number in case of emergency (under Rule 31.5).

Warm Up Areas: no-one on foot allowed in warm up areas. No lunging/leading in SJ warm-up arena. No more than 6 horses in the SJ warm-up arena at any one time. Competitors must leave the warm-up areas if asked to do so by a steward/official.  Additional warm-up behind the small outdoor arena.  No more than 5 horses permitted in this SJ warm-up at any one time.  

Box and trailer parking is in the field opposite the farm.

Dogs must be kept on non-extendable leads and under control at all times.

Please keep horses/ponies well away from the Riding School.

Spectators are welcome but please keep children under close supervision and park in the Lorry park.  No parking in the Riding School Car Park.

The Organisers reserve the right to alter the schedule at any time, to amalgamate/cancel classes with insufficient entries. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any Class for whatever reason they deem necessary, to disqualify any rider at any stage, to alter the schedule at any time, to refuse entry for operational reasons. Should the event be abandoned then a £4.00 admin fee will be retained on all refunds.

Neither Snowball Farm Equestrian Centre, nor any of their representatives or Staff shall in any way be liable for any accident, injury, damage or loss whatsoever caused to anyone whether competing, servant, spectator, horse or horse vehicle or property, however caused in connection with or arising out of the show.

An Entry constitutes an agreement to be bound by and to abide by the Rules & Regulations of Snowball Farm Equestrian Centre

Entries close 11pm Thursday prior to the competition date, after which late entries may be taken.  Late entries, if space/time available, are subject to £3.00 per Show Jumping class.  Incomplete entries will not be counted.

Telephone & E-mail entries will not be accepted.

Times will be published on the Friday before the competition.  Classes will not be held up, if you do not turn up your entry will be forfeited.

The Show Secretary must be informed of any changes to original entry of Rider or Horse/Pony.  Change of Horse and Rider is not allowed.
