Show Information

Entries Close 9pm Monday 26th February 2024 or when classes full. No late entries will be taken on the day
SJ will be in the Indoor Arena with warm up outside on a surface with two practice fences
Dressage will be in an outdoor arena with a separate outdoor warm up arena on a surface
Age of competitor is to be on the day of the show
The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry, cancel the event or alter timings of phases and to divide or amalgamate classes according to entries.
The Combined Training classes will run alongside the single SJ and dressage classes
ALL TESTS MAY BE CALLED but please provide your own caller

Terms & Conditions

1. All Classes are run in accordance with BD or BS rules as appropriate 2. All Pony Club members must wear tagged British Standard approved hardhats to standard: PAS 015 or 2011, VG1, Snell E2016, AS/NZS 3838 2006 onwards or ATSM F1163 with SEI kite marking. 3. Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 4. All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The New Forest Hunts Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you. 5. In the event of cancellation, entry fees will be refunded less £2. 6. The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser and all Officials and Stewards. 7. Horses/ponies may not compete more than once in each class and no more than 3 classes. Stallions by prior approval of NFHPC. 8. Clear up all droppings and hay. No mucking out of horseboxes/trailers into the car park. 9. Judge’s decision is final. Objections to secretary within 30 minutes of the incident with £20 refundable at the discretion of the NFHPC Committee. 10. Excessive use of the whip is prohibited. The rules state that the whip may be used a maximum of three times during any round. Use of the whip will be monitored, and excessive use will result in elimination at the discretion of the Judges. 11. The judges reserve the right to allow a competitor not to compete if horse welfare is in any way compromised. 12. Dogs must be on a lead at all times and all children must be supervised.
