Enborne Equestrian Arena Eventing

This event is a qualifier for the Sunshine Tour Championships 2024, Hickstead 12-15 September 2024. Must be placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th. in Classes 40cm+ (championship is 50cm+)

 

RULES 

This event will be run as a single phase competition. All classes will be the same format and course.

There will be between 6-8 showjumps followed by fences 7/8/9 to fence 15 will be over simulated cross country fences. 

The cross country phase will be timed. 

The winner will be the fastest time over the timed section. 

 

  • 10 -second penalty will be added for each refusal on the timed and non-timed parts of the course. 

  • 10-second penalty will be added for each fence knocked down on all parts of the course.

  • 3-refusals in total will be an elimination.

  • Any fall of rider or horse will result in elimination.

  • Any riding deemed dangerous by the judges or stewards, may result in elimination.

  • BE compliant XC kit must be worn. (Skull helmets, Body Protectors,competition jodhpurs/breeches)

    Any Leader must wear appropriate footwear - no soft shoes /trainers or sandals.

  • Stop watches and ‘on-body/helmet’ cameras are not permitted.

COVID-19 RULES
We are delighted to be running events again, however, there are some new rules we need you to read and abide by. We ask you to be sensible – if you are ‘vulnerable’ or showing any symptoms that might be Covid-19 – please do not attend.
Any person entering the venue must abide by the Government Guidelines with regards to Covid-19, abiding by the up to date social distancing rule at the time of the event and any additional rules enforced by Enborne Equestrian for the event.
Failure to follow these rules you will be asked to leave the site and riders eliminated from the competition and no refund given.


CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
The decision of the judges and stewards will be final. No claim can be entertained for anything that may happen to competitors, their property, servants, or horses in connection with, or arising out of this event. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the promoters against any legal action arising from such an incident. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by the correct fee. The promoters reserve the right to refuse any entry without giving any reason whatsoever. An objection to the result of any class may only be made by any owner, his authorised agent or rider of a horse competing in the event. Any such person must make his objection in writing to the Secretary within one hour of that objection and pay a £10 deposit, returnable within 7 days if the objection is upheld. Correct riding attire must be worn by all competitors in line with RC rules. In particular, everyone mounted, whether a competitor or not, must wear a hat with a BSI Kitemark and complying with the following standards: PAS015 or VG1 01.040 (2014-12). The harness should be properly adjusted and fastened. Failure to do so will incur elimination. The promoters reserve the right to cancel any class or the event at their discretion. Horses and ponies must be 4 years old or over. No dogs allowed
