Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Membersa) For horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 316.6.b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2019 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6. Rule 102.16, British Showjumping Hind Boot rule for Boots / Leg Protection applies to this class. This league will run throughout the winter British Show Jumping Season at Solihull Riding Club. All competitors are eligible for this league and will include no restrictions. This will apply to all classes in all competitions from 4th October – 13th March. This will unfortunately exclude BS Training Shows and the Winter Classic Show (2nd- 4th February). This will run on rider and horse combination points. The combination that has obtained the most points at the end of the league will win the brand-new Ikonic bridle. 1st – 6 points, 2nd – 5 points, 3rd – 4 points. 4th – 3 points, 5th – 2 points, 6th – 1 point

Payment is secure and it goes directly to Solihull Riding Club. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5.
HATS must be worn whenever mounted and conform to PAS015 (1998 or 2011). VG01.040 2014-12. with a BSI Kite mark or Inspec IC mark ASTM F1163.2004a onwards with SEI mark SNELL E2001 or 2016 (No additional mark required) ONLY Jockey skull hats without a peak (greater than 5mm smooth and rounded in nature) may be worn for cross country. Hat silks may be worn with flexible peak. It must also comply with the above safety standards for hats.
BODY PROTECTORS A body protector is obligatory for all arena eventing and cross-country events and are also strongly recommended for all show jumping events. A BETA Level 3 (Purple label) which has a 2009 label or 2018 Blue label must be worn. Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. If a rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector and if activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets and Helite Air Jackets are permitted. It is recommended that body protectors are replaced once they are more than 5 years old. Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events. CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn. ALL horses and ponies must be four years old and over
ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final. INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover. HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers. Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
