The combined challenge is an excellent test of the ability and timing of a horse and rider to negotiate a showjumping course followed by a cross country course on grass/ in an arena

Individuals or Team of 4 at each height available. Members only, but you must not have competed for another Club in the last year
This is an Area 7 Qualifier for BRC NAF 5 StarCombined Challenge Championships held at Aston Le Walls, Daventry, 20th-21st May 2023

Classes will be available at the following heights: 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 100cm

 

Restrictions/Eligibility
Eligibility for all classes can be found in the current BRC Handbook (page 91 – please note from September 1st 2022 horses may compete in consecutive heights Arena Eventing and Combined Challenge). Eligibility will be taken from the close of pre-entries 12th February 2023.

This includes entry to Area 7 competition. Club pays for registration of your intent to qualify to BRC

Withdrawals/Refunds

If you withdraw after Final Closing date, fees will be retained by the Club unless the space is filled by another member. This is to ensure that the administration costs in running this event are met.

Terms & Conditions

All riders must confirm to BRC Hat standards. PAS 015 2011 and must have BSI Kitemark Or Inspec IC Mark: VG1 01.040 (2014-12) and must have BSI Kitemark Or Inspec IC Mark: ASTM F1163 (2004a 0r 04a onwards) and must have SEI mark: SNELL E2016 and must have official SNELL label and number: AS/NZS 3838 (2006 onwards) and must have SAI Global mark).

Current BRC Hat tag is PINK (from Jan 2023) Hat tagging will be available on the day. 

A body protector is MANDATORY for this competition as fixed XC fences will be used. 

All horse vaccinations must be fully up to date. Passport information and Vaccination history must be supplied to Team manager upon request.
