RIDING TEST QUALIFIERS - 

Riding Test

The riding test is similar to a dressage test, but marks are awarded according to the rider’s performance (effectiveness and presentation of the test), and the horse’s paces are not considered. This competition can be ridden as an individual or as part of a team. For senior teams, two members ride the Prelim RT and the other two ride the Novice RT. Junior team members all ride Prelim RT.

If you withdraw after the Final Closing date, fees will be retained by the Club unless the space is filled by another member. This is to ensure that the administration costs in running this event are met.

All riders must conform to BRC Hat standards. All hats must have a visible and current hat tag (PINK) in place before they are used for warming up and competing to show that it meets the current safety standards. There will be a trained offical available on the day to do this for you if your hat does not currrently have one. For up to date hat rules please see the current BRC Handbook.

Your horse/pony must have up to date influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current BRC Handbook. There is also a checking device on the BRC website, but if you unsure, please call BRC on 02476 840518.
