Show Information

Combined Training competition for senior and junior teams of 4 and individuals to be run under BRC rules.

Senior team of 4- Senior teams will have 2 members doing a prelim test jumping 75cm and 2 members riding a novice test jumping 85cm.

Junior team of 4- Junior teams will have 2 members doing a prelim test jumping 75cm, 1 member riding a prelim test and jumping 85cm and 1 member ridning a novive test and jumping 85cm.

Individuals- can ide and test/ height

Horses can compete twice, either as part of a team and an individual OR they can enter twice as on individual. In both cases, the dressage test/ height MUST be different.

 

 

 

Teams of 4 (split into Seniors and Juniors). Teams will be made up of 2 riders jumping 75cm and riding a Prelim test, and 2 riders jumping 85cm and riding a Novice test. Members only. 

Prelim 7 (2002) – 75cm
Prelim 14 (2006) – 75cm
Novice 24 (2010) – 85cm
Novice 30 (2006) – 85cm

Please enter for the level/height you wish to compete at and Team Manager will contact you to assign a dressage test.

This is an Area 7 Qualifier for the BRC NAF 5 Star Championship held at Aston-le-Walls, Washbrook Farm 20th-21st May 2023

75cm/Prelim
BD points: unlimited Prelim points, 0 points at Novice or above
BE points: 0
BS points: 0, other than notional points gained in 70 and 80cm classes held at BS intro shows. BS Club points gained at any level will not be counted except for 70cm SJ. All points gained for double clears will not be counted, however from 01/10/2019 they will be counted as points. SJI points should be converted into pounds by multiplying by 9 for horses that have gained winnings in 120cm classes or above, 3 for horses that have gained winnings in classes lower than 120cm and 2 .5 for ponies.
Not allowed: Riders who have competed under FEI rules in the relevant discipline in the last 5 calendar years
Horses may be registed with BE but must not have any BE points. Not to have been placed in the top 6 at BE90 or to have completed a BE100 or above in the current or previous calendar year at close of prelim entry.

85cm/Novice
BD points: unlimited Novice points, up to 35 Elementary points, 0 points at Medium or above
BE points: 10
BS points: 225, All points gained for double clears will not be counted, however from 01/10/2019 they will be counted as points. SJI points should be converted into pounds by multiplying by 9 for horses that have gained winnings in 120cm classes or above, 3 for horses that have gained winnings in classes lower than 120cm and 2 .5 for ponies.

This includes entry to Area 7 competition. Club pays for registration of your intent to qualify to BRC and offers subsidised team training

Withdrawals/Refunds

If you withdraw after Final Closing date, fees will be retained by the Club unless the space is filled by another member. This is to ensure that the administration costs in running this event are met.You will also be charged for the cost of pre-entry if you do not compete. 

Terms & Conditions

All competing horses and ponies must have an up-to-date flu vaccinations and comply with BRC rules. If your flu vaccination does not comply with the BRC rules you will be eliminated. Refer to the current BRC Handbook for the full rules on vaccination certificates, this can be found on the BRC website as a downloadable file. A flu vac checker is also available from the downloads section of the BRC website.

Hats meeting the current standards must be worn at all times and securely fastened when mounted. It is also advised to wear a hat when handling on the ground.

All riders must confirm to BRC Hat standards. PAS 015 2011 and must have BSI Kitemark Or Inspec IC Mark: VG1 01.040 (2014-12) and must have BSI Kitemark Or Inspec IC Mark: ASTM F1163 (2004a 0r 04a onwards) and must have SEI mark: SNELL E2016 and must have official SNELL label and number: AS/NZS 3838 (2006 onwards) and must have SAI Global mark).

Current BRC Hat tag is PINK (from Jan 2023) Hat tagging will be available on the day.
