Show Information

Pre-entry & drawn order. Entries close at 2pm on the Day prior to the show. Entries may close early if spaces are fully booked.
No entries taken on the day unless you are already on the start list and wanting to jump another class or HC round, then entries may be taken only if space allows.
Warm-up arena: Andrews Bowen (37 x 45m Pro Wax). Competition arena: Outdoor Olympic Arena 80x52m premium surface.

How it works: Eventer Challenge competition running in our outdoor arena. The first section is over coloured show jumps and the second section is timed over rustic/natural obstacles with fillers. Competitors must enter the start box and wait for the judge's bell before beginning the 2nd phase over natural obstacles. There will be an optimum time for completion of the natural obstacles. Penalties occur if the optimum time is exceeded or if a competitor is under the optimum time by more than 15 seconds. Any jumping penalties acquired from either phase will added to the competitors results.

Please refer to the Eventer Challenge Rules available on the show day for a breakdown of penalties. Within the 2nd phase (Rustic Section) there is an optional fence, "The Joker" which may include a water tray or alternative. If a competitor successfully jumps the "The Joker" fence an extra point will be added to the competitors results for the Treehouse Sporting Colours Eventer Challenge Championship League Table. This must be jumped clear on the first attempt for the additional league table point. The winner of each class is the horse/rider with the lowest penalties and closest to the optimum time. In the event of a tie on penalties, the competitor closest to the optimum time will win.

Championship League: Points awarded 1st-10th in each class through the series. Bonus points available for successfully jumping the Joker fence. Championship prizes awarded at the end of the series: OVERALL CHAMPION £50 VOUCHER / 2ND PLACE £25 VOUCHER / 3RD £25 VOUCHER. All prizes through the series are provided very generously by Treehouse Sporting Colours.

Dress code: Body protectors are strongly advised. No fixed peaks. Riders can choose to wear XC wear or normal SJ attire.
