Entries will close at 4:00pm the Thursday prior to the competition. Entries may close earlier if full. Drawn orders will be available on the Friday prior to the competition.
Clear Round is available over the course set, from 8.30am-9.30am. No adjustments may be made to the course.
Class 1 will start at approximately 10am. Except Class 1, all classes are open to all horses and ponies.

All entries must be made in advance.
All classes will be run under Showjumping Rules and Conditions on page 7.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Entries in advance only. You can enter using a Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Hartpury University & College.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Please note there is a £2.50 per horse charge for qualified first aid cover

Prize Information

Prizes: 1st - £13, 2nd - £8, 3rd - £6
Rosettes to 6th place
(Prize money dependent on numbers and will be in the form of an online voucher towards a future competition)

Special Classes

 All Horse/Rider combinations placed in the Top 3 of all classes will qualify for the South West Hartpury Unaffiliated Championships on the 20th May 2023 (subject to qualifying criteria)

Withdrawals/Refunds

Pre Entries that are withdrawn before the drawn orders are published  will be carried over. No entries will be carried over or refunded once the drawn orders have been published.

Booking fees are non-refundable.

Refunds will only be issued with a valid doctors note or veterinary certificate and subject to a £2.50 admin fee.  

Terms & Conditions

Qualifying Criteria for Unaffiliated Showjumping competitions from 1st September - 7th May 2023:

  • In the event that you have gained a qualification to the chamionships you may take your place in a maximum of two of the championship classes only.
  • British showjumping members who are in the gold league are not eligible for qualification in any class. British showjumping members are not eligible to compete in the 60cm championship.
  • Horses registered with British Showjumping who have won more than 125 points are not eligible to qualify for class 2 or 3.
  • Winning combinations of champiobship classes in 2022 will not be eligible to compete in the same or lower height championship class in 2023. 
  • Note: Qualifying cards will be given to competitors who gain qualifcation on the day of competition. Please register your details with the show secretary and further information and entry forms will be e-mailed out closer to the Championship

To be run in accordance with British Showjumping Rules. • Evening showjumping competitions will be run two-phase – all those that jump clear in the first section will go immediately to the jump off section which will be timed. Those that don’t go clear in the first section will be buzzed out. • No misuse of the whip, equipment or practice fences will be allowed. • The committee reserves the right to alter, add or cancel any class, and to refuse any entry without stating a reason. • All dogs must be kept on leads. • Horses and ponies must be four years old and over. • The judges’ decision is final. • All competitors are required to wear headgear that complies with the highest current safety standard. • Objections must be made, in writing, to the Secretary within one hour of the incident with a £25 deposit. The deposit is forfeited if the objection is not sustained. • The number of entries may be restricted for each class. • Horses and Ponies MUST NOT be tied to the side of horseboxes or trailers and left unattended – please clear up any mess left by you or your horses in the bins and muck trailers provided.
