Entries will be taken on a first come first served basis. ENTRIES CLOSE WHEN FULL. Entries after 8th September will be charged a late entry fee of £12.

Please state in the ‘Class Notes’ part of entry form if you are travelling with another competitor and require similar times. If you organise to travel with someone else after you have made your entry please email becca@munsteadhorsetrials.co.uk ASAP as requests for timings cannot be accommodated after the sections have been done (about 10 days before the event).

Prize Money in all classes (entries permitting) : 1st £90, 2nd £80, 3rd £60 Rosettes to 10th place.

Including PC Area 13 Eventing League Sections: 80, 90. Please enter PC80 or PC90 Classes to be included in the League

 There will be public catering on site

HORSE TRIALS (Dressage, SJ and XC)

*** 90 sections, all horses to be a minimum 137cms, 5 years old & above. Riders must attain the age of 12 years old in 2021
*** 80 sections, all horses to be a minimum 137cms, 4 years old and above. Riders must attain the age of 11 years old in 2021
*** 60 sections, all horses to be 4 years old and above. Riders must attain the age of 10 years old in 2021

***Pony Club Sections, these count for the Area 13 Eventing League – please ensure you enter with your horse’s passport name and state which PC you are a member off under Class Notes. We reserve the right to incorporate the PC Sections into the Adult sections if there are not enough PC entries to warrant their own sections. Separate Pony Club Rosettes will NOT be awarded, but points will be allocated to the Leagues.

Points won in B.E. events will not apply.
Hard hats must be worn to BE/PC/RC standards and must be tagged for all three phases with the Aqua coloured tag (2018 onwards).
Body protectors must be worn when competing in the cross country phase. Competitors must wear medical arm bands if they have anything they need to disclose to paramedics in event of a fall.
Any horse or pony, which is considered by a Judge or the Organisers to be too small for the jockey, unsound, unfit or unhealthy, will be excluded from further competition without any refund of entry fee.
ATV (quad bikes) and motor-bikes are not permitted at Heath Farm, unless specifically authorised by the Organisers.
All dogs must be kept on short leads.

Abandonment: In the event of abandonment £12.00 will be retained from each entry.

DRESSAGE : Dressage tests are our own Munstead Horse Trials tests, written by a list 2 judge. They can be downloaded from https://www.munsteadhorsetrials.co.uk/unaffiliated-horse-trials .

HUNTER TRIALS (Cross Country only)

The Hunter Trials classes will be run over the same XC courses as the Horse Trials classes. The rules will be the same as for the XC phase of the horse trials (ie 3 refusals at one fence or 4 over the whole course is Elimination and you will have to leave the course) .The hunter trials classes will have NO Dressage or SJ.

Hunter Trials classes will be judged on a bogey time, which will differ slightly from the Horse Trials speeds. NO STOPWATCHES ALLOWED FOR HUNTER TRIALS CLASSES

OBJECTIONS: Objections and Scoring Queries must be made in writing to the Information point within half an hour of the incident. After this the score cannot be changed.

Save for death or injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, Munstead Horse Trials and Heath Farm, for themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the horse trials, do not accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or statutory duty or any way whatsoever of themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the horse trials or otherwise.

RESERVATION of RIGHT: The Organisers reserve the right to: Cancel any class or section; Divide any class; Transfer competitors between sections of a class; Alter the advertised times, and Refuse any entry.
