Pony Club Dressage - PC 70 Dressage Test 2022

Open to PC Members only: Team & Individual.
No qualification needed but must be PC members.
Teams of 3 or 4 riders or Individuals. Each member of each team will ride in a different (20m x 40m) arena. The three best individual scores will be added together to find the team’s total score. For the individual prizes the best two individuals from each of the four arenas will take part in a “ride off”. This will take place after all the teams have completed their tests and will be held in one arena under one Judge using The Pony Club 70 Dressage Test 2022. Calling the test is not permitted.

Teams of 3 or 4 riders that have previously qualified at their Area competitions. Each member of each team will ride in a different (20m x 40m) arena. The three best individual scores will be added together to find the team’s total score. For the individual prizes the best two individuals from each of the four arenas will take part in a “ride off”. This will take place after all the teams have completed their tests and will be held in one arena under one Judge using The Pony Club Grassroots Dressage Test 2018. Calling the test is not permitted.

Pony Club Regional Championships: Team & Individual
Show Jumping Rules. Teams of 3 or 4 riders that have previously qualified at their Area competitions. The competition is to be run in accordance with Rule 36 in the Pony Club Show Jumping Rule Book 2022. The whole team (3 or 4 riders) will jump two rounds followed by a jump off against the clock if required. There is to be a minimum of 10 fences and the course will not exceed 450m at a speed of 325mpm. First Round will be a max height in the first round of 80cm, the Second Round maximum height will be 80cm but two single fences will be 85cm.

Open to pony club members: Team & Individual
Showjumping: No longer than 350m at a speed of 300mpm. Max height 70cm including one double consisting of 2 upright fences. There will be 2 fences at 75cm.
Cross Country: Max length of 1800m & up to 25 jumping efforts.
Teams of 3 or 4 riders or individual. The three best individual scores will be totalled to find the team’s total score.

Dressage: The Pony Club Grassroots Dressage Test 2018
Showjumping: At a speed of 300mpm. Height 80cm. There will be 2 fences at 85cm.
Cross Country: Max length of 2500m & up to 25 jumping efforts.
Teams of 3 or 4 riders or individual riders that have previously qualified at their Area competitions. The three best individual scores will be totalled to find the team’s total score.

If you are competing at the PC Regional Championships then you are NOT allowed to enter the Mini Championships (Classes 1-5) All Hats must have a certified Pony Club tag. Number bib are compulsory for all competitiors across all 4 days of competition. Print your number via www.ponyclubresults.co.uk Each District Commisioner is required to certify the eligibility of each combination & declare teams if not done so upon entry. When not competing horses/ponies must be kept to the lorry park / stable area or collecting rings. They must not be exercised in the lorry park or led around among spectators. NO Lungeing. Horses/ponies must not be tied to trailers or lorries & left unattended. Dogs must be kept on short leads & picked up after. Protests & Objections: please see rule 50 in the PC Dressage rule book 2022 & rule 51 in PC SJ rule book 2022. Run under PC Rules 2022, the judges decision is final. Vaccinations: Annual Rule Horses/ponies competing may only be ridden by their competitor. No dressage callers allowed in any classes / whips are permitted in pure dressage classes (Classes 7 & 8) First Aid is included in the entry fee.

Any Withdrawals made before midday on Wednesday 17th August will recieve a refund (minus a £10 admin fee) After this time no refund of any sort will be given.
