Bury Farm is delighted to be running the Saracen Quest Championships under a new format.
My Quest competition runs on Thursday 28th October.
Team Quest competition runs on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October. Team Questers need to compete on both the Saturday and Sunday with both days' scores amalgamated for a final team Championship score.
Friday 29th October is a rest day, allowing My Quest competitors to leave the centre and for Team Questers to arrive. Those competitors who have qualified for both My Quest and Team Quest are welcome to stable on Thursday night and use the centre's hacking tracks or give their ponies a day off on Friday before resuming competition on Saturday 30th October.
Stabling prices have been set to reflect the opportunity for Questers to stable over a period of four days or more.

**** Start times for My Quest will be available to view on our website by no later than 6pm on Tuesday 26th October ****

**** Start times for Team Quest will be available to view on our website no later than 6pm on Thursday 28th October ****

On the day of the competition
Competitors will be met by a member of the team at the entrance to the lorry park. Competitors will need to provide identification upon arrival at the centre. NO PERSON MAY ENTER THE SHOW GROUND IF THEIR DETAILS HAVE NOT BEEN PROVIDED ON THE ONLINE ENTRY FORM. In line with biosecurity measures please have your passports available for inspection upon arrival at the centre. Horses must have up-to-date vaccinations and the organisers reserve the right to turn horses away from the competition if proof of vaccination records cannot be presented upon arrival. Upon entrance checks competitors will be directed to an allocated parking space. Please note that cars may be parked in a separate part of the show ground to lorries. Sufficient space will be allocated between cars and lorries to maintain correct social distancing measures.

A maximum of 10 competitors will be allowed in our outdoor warm up arenas, and 2 in each of the indoor warm up arenas. No member of the public may attend the warm up spaces on foot. A collecting ring steward will call each competitor to the competition arenas at their allotted time. The competitor must enter the arena via the designated entrance as directed by the collecting ring steward. Competitors must head straight back to their lorries after they have cooled off. They may not access any other arena or farm track after their test has finished.

Scores will be added up at the venue after a class has concluded.. Results will be verified by a judge and they will be published online via the Bury Farm website show link. Competitors will be able to collect sheets from the venue on the day of the competition. Sheets will be laid out in the show reception area for collection. Please allow the show secretary time to lay sheets out and please avoid gathering in large groups prior to collecting sheets and rosettes. Results will be updated online throughout the show and judges will verify these results after each class has concluded. Results will be sent to British Dressage within 48 hours of the show's conclusion and they will be available via the BD website once they have been verified by the BD fixtures team.

Prize givings will be organised by the BD team and rosettes/awards will be distributed during prize givings which will be held at prescribed times during the My Quest competition on Thursday 28th October, and at the end of the Team Quest competition on Sunday 31st October.

The show organiser, Anne Dingley will be your Covid Compliance Manager on the day of competition. The show mobile will be available for competitors to contact on the day of competition - 07568 395548.

Social distancing measures must be observed throughout the show. Please use hand sanitiser and wash hands regularly during your visit to the centre. Please wear face masks responsibly, i.e. in crowded indoor spaces.

Toilets will be available for use in the International show centre. The Paddocks cafe team will provide a service on the day of competition and will be offering a full service of food, drink and snack within social distancing parameters. Competitors may not access the livery facilities during their visit to the centre.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Entries in advance. You can enter using a Secure Online Entry System:
Payment is secure and it goes directly Bury Farm Equestrian Centre.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Stabling Information: Yes

Stabling can be booked online alongside your entries. It is essential that competitors observe social distancing etiquette in the stabling areas during the show. Please ensure you bring adequate hand sanitiser to use after opening and closing stable doors, handling horse equipment and tack. For hygiene reasons competitors must bring their own tools to the show.

We have upgraded our temporary stables for the 2021 season to ensure that all competitors can enjoy their overnight stays at the centre. Permanent stables are limited and so we cannot honour every request for permanent stables at the show. Permanent stables will be allocated on a priority basis at the discretion of the event organiser. £45 for one night, £60 for two nights, £75 for three nights, £80 for four nights  or £90 for five nights or more (duration.) Please select DURATION stabling if staying for 5 nights or more & state arrival day in the stabling notes.

Stables are available from 3pm on the date of booking and must be vacated by midday on the day of departure. Arrival and departure times may be flexed upon request depending upon stable availability. STRICTLY No arrivals after 7pm. Please call 07568 395548 in the event of emergency.

Day stables may be booked @£25 per day only if overnight stables are not booked to capacity.

Hook Up may also be booked online: £25 for one night, £50 for two nights or more (duration.)

Stables should be left in the condition in which they are found, i.e. clear of droppings and dry. Any stables which are not left in a suitable condition will incur a muck out fee which will be communicated and charged to the competitor upon inspection of vacated stables. For biosecurity reasons we leave a basic bed in stables, banked up at the stable sides to allow competitors the option to use existing bedding for banks/bases, or to remove entirely if preferred.

Hay and shavings can be purchased on site during the show. Please ask for a forage slip upon arriving at the centre and you will be able to pay for hay/shavings before collecting it from the hay barn next to the permanent stables at allocated times throughout the event.

Shavings can be purchased on site for £9 per bale. Shavings must be used in our permanent indoor stables. Competitors are welcome to bring their own shavings. Ad-lib free straw is provided for temporary stables.

Refreshments:

The Paddocks cafe will serve food, drink and snacks in line with the latest social distancing guidelines.
