Entries open Monday 9th Aug 2021. Entries will be taken on a first come first served basis. ENTRIES CLOSE WHEN FULL.
Entries after 8th September will be charged a late entry fee of £12.

INTERNET ENTRIES ARE PREFERED – www.munsteadhorsetrials.co.uk. Please state in the ‘Class Notes’ part of entry form if you are travelling with another competitor and require similar times. If you organise to travel with someone else after you have made your entry please email becca@munsteadhorsetrials.co.uk ASAP as requests for timings cannot be accommodated after the sections have been done (about 10 days before the event).

Prize Information

Prize Money in all classes (entries permitting) : 1st £90, 2nd £80, 3rd £60 Rosettes to 10th place.

Withdrawals/Refunds

No refunds after Wednesday 8 September 2021 for any reason. Any refunds made will be subject to a £12 admin charge and are at the discretion of the organiser.
Withdrawals: ASAP or at latest by 7pm on Sunday 12th September to becca@munsteadhorsetrials.co.uk or 01483 418271. Refunds can only be made (less £12 for admin) if your space can be replaced from someone off the Waitlist

Terms & Conditions

CONDITIONS of ENTRY:
These horse trials will be run according to the rules of British Eventing, except where varied below and the making of an entry constitutes acceptance of those rules.

RULES:
***All 90 sections, all horses to be a minimum 137cms, 5 years old & above. Riders must attain the age of 12 years old in 2021
***All 80 sections, all horses to be a minimum 137cms, 4 years old and above. Riders must attain the age of 11 years old in 2021
***All 60 sections, all horses to be 4 years old and above. Riders must attain the age of 10 years old in 2021
***Pony Club Sections, these count for the Area 13 Eventing League – please ensure you enter with your horse’s passport name.
Points won in B.E. events will not apply.
Hard hats must be worn to BE/PC/RC standards.
Hats must be tagged for all three phases with the Aqua coloured tag (2018 onwards).
Body protectors must be worn when competing in the cross country phase.
Competitors must wear medical arm bands if they have anything they need to disclose to paramedics in event of a fall.
Any horse or pony, which is considered by a Judge or the Organisers to be too small for the jockey, unsound, unfit or unhealthy, will be excluded from further competition without any refund of entry fee.
ATV (quad bikes) and motor-bikes are not permitted at Heath Farm, unless specifically authorised by the Organisers.
All dogs must be kept on short leads.
Abandonment: In the event of abandonment £12.00 will be retained from each entry.

DRESSAGE : Dressage tests are the British Eventing tests which are available to download for free from www.britisheventing.co.uk/downloads.

OBJECTIONS: Objections must be made in writing to the Information point within half an hour of the incident together with a £50 deposit. The deposit will be forfeited if the objection is not sustained. After this the score cannot be changed.

Save for death or injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, Munstead Horse Trials and Heath Farm, for themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the horse trials, do not accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or statutory duty or any way whatsoever of themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the horse trials or otherwise.

RESERVATION of RIGHT: The Organisers reserve the right to: Cancel any class or section; Divide any class; Transfer competitors between sections of a class; Alter the advertised times, and Refuse any entry.
