Bookings in advance only. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Field Farm Cross Country.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

£25 per horse.

Terms & Conditions

Please be sure to adhere to Covid 19 Rules. We will only be accepting individual hires no group bookings at this stage.

In signing accepting these Terms &Conditions I/ we acknowledge that the use of this Cross Country Course has certain risks and I/we accept that FHG Shields Ltd (Field Farm) and anybody associated with the farm shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage, which may occur. The farm does not insure yourselves, your horse or your tack or equipment. You are advised to make your own arrangements for insurance.

At all times riders are required to wear riding hats conforming to the current British Standard and suitable footwear with defined heels and body protectors must be worn at all times. All riders aged 16 years and under using the course, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 years and over.

Please read the following conditions before accepting our Terms &Conditions:

Before using the XC Course all riders must familiarise themselves with the course and only jump jumps for which the horse/ pony and rider are capable of. Taking note of the ground conditions and any hazards or bends

The Farm reserve the right to close the XC course at any time without notice

All vehicles must be kept to the allocated parking facilities at all times

All facilities that are provided must be left clean and tidy at all times

All gates must be kept closed at all times

For safety reasons all lone riders must be accompanied by another rider or person on foot

Please take note of any footpath signs and keep off footpaths. When approaching farm tracks please slow and look for any traffic

No racing must take place at any time

Any spectators must stay clear of jumps at all times

Any fall however minor must be reported and recorded in the accident book

The Farm cannot be held responsible for the failure to comply with any of these conditions.

PLEASE NOTE: All riders are requested that their horses are fully vaccinated, and are considered to be fit and healthy prior to attending our course. Passports must be available for inspection at anytime. We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all horses and we therefore thank you for your co-operation in advance.
