Payment Details & Event Fees

Bookings online in advance.
Secure Booking System: Payment is secure and it goes directly to Petley Wood Equestrian Centre.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
£25 per horse/hour slot.
1 Additional Horse allowed at £5. Limited to 3 horses per session.

Withdrawals/Refunds

PETLEY WOOD REFUND/WITHDRAWAL POLICY Refunds for online bookings for shows/Arena hire/clinics etc will only be made if withdrawals are made by email to info@petleywoodequestrian.co.uk up till 7 days before the booked date, these refunds will be subject to a £5 admin charge. Where a wait list is held and you can be replaced a refund will be given and also subject to the admin charge within the 7 day period . Withdrawals made before the 7 day period can also be transferred or refunded to a similar event but will incur the admin charge for refunds. Refunds will not include the booking fee which is paid to our online entry agents.

PETLEY WOOD COVID-19 STATEMENT REGARDING SCHOOL HIRE.
In the effort to minimise risks of the spread of COVID-19 and safeguarding of staff we are planning on opening up slots for school /arena hire and are advising that everyone follows the current NHS advice on social distancing.
Only 3 horses can be booked in per hourly slot .
There will be 15 minute intervals between slots to enable previous hirers to vacate the premises
Only one other person will be permitted to accompany individual hirers. Anyone else attending in excess will have to remain in the lorry/car
All children must be supervised and not allowed to wander.
In any organised training session, the trainer/instructor will be responsible to see all government guidelines regarding social distancing etc are adhered to.
Lorries must be parked with a 5m gap
We would also request that anyone feeling unwell, with cold type symptoms and a temperature, does not attend the centre.
We will not accept entries from competitors who have been abroad in high risk Covid19 countries.
This also applies to owners, grooms and other connections.
Gloves must be worn and sanitised before and after using the facilities.
Toilet and Café facilities will be closed
Please leave course as found. All droppings must be removed on completion of hire from lorry park and arena.
Strictly no entry to any other part of the premises.
CCTV will be in operation at all times
We continue to monitor all government guidance in relation to the running of sporting events in the face of the Covid-19 situation.

Petley Wood hiring of facilities contract disclaimer form including specific conditions. When hiring facilities/ arenas at Petley wood the hirer is responsible for conducting their own risk assessments, Petley Wood cannot be held responsible for; incidents, accidents, injuries, theft or any damage to vehicles what so ever. It is the responsibility of the hirer to have adequate insurance including public liability. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that they and any attendees adhere to Petley wood’s general rules and regulations. Any damage to our property, arenas and equipment must be repaired / replaced or paid for in full by the hirers. When you arrive to hire any of the facilities please ensure you come to the office to let us know you are here, pay in full and if you are on your own then please leave a emergency contact number in case of any accidents. This disclaimer contract is made between Petley Wood E.C and by the hirer Once you have signed this form you have then agreed to comply to the rules and regulations each time you hire the facilities at Petley wood. Petley Wood E C health and safety policy is available to be read on request. Petley Wood E.C. will retain all catering rights for the venue unless otherwise agreed.The hirer will be responsible for providing extra porta loos if it is deemed necessary. No lunging whatsoever in the Arena No free schooling in the Arena The hirer to ensure all vehicles are correctly parked and will provide parking attendants if required. All litter and droppings to be removed from lorry parking area and droppings removed from arenas. Regular training evenings will run from 7pm till 10pm at a cost of £50 per session inclusive of lights Training days will be charged at £35 per hour exclusive of lighting charge. Dressage and dog shows will be charged at £400 per day exclusive of lights and hireable period is from 8am till 5pm, thereafter a charge of £30 per hour is chargeable. Jumping shows will be charged at £450,Arena eventing at £500 per day exclusive of lights and hireable period is from 9am till 5pm, thereafter a charge of £35 per hour is chargeable. All breakages, however small must be reported and will be chargeable at cost . Set up fee, if setting up the evening before if available will be £25. Light charges. Indoor arena £3 per hour ,Outdoor arena and car parks £4 per hour. Cancellation. 48 hours notice must be given for regular weekly sessions and 3 weeks notice for shows and training days otherwise hirer will be responsible for 50% of hire charge. All hirers must designate a responsible person to ensure that all conditions are met in full. The hirer must provide first aid cover if deemed necessary. Trade stands will be permitted in designated areas by prior permission The hirer must run all shows/training days in a responsible and professional manner in a way that will not prejudice the good name of Petley Wood.
