REFUND DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS ONLY:
If the event is cancelled due to COVID Restrictions between 19th -23rd April 2021, your start fee and 50% of your entry fee will be refunded.
If the event is cancelled due to COVID Restrictions between 24th-27th April 2021, your start fee and 30% of your entry fee will be refunded.
If the event is cancelled due to COVID Restrictions between 28th April & the first day of the event, only your start fee will be refunded.

For HT80cm – Rider not to have completed a BE 100 or BRC HT 100 or above in the current competition year. Riders may not compete at 100 or above in the same Qualifier or Championship. Horses may be registered with BE but must not have any BE points. Not to have been placed in the top six at a BE90 or to have completed a BE100 or above in the current or previous calendar year.
For HT 90cm – Riders who have completed under FEI rules in the relevant discipline in the last 5 calendar years. For Eventing restrictions at CT75, CT85, HT80 CH80 HT90 and CH90 applies to 2* and above only. Horses may be currently registered with BE but must not have been placed in the first six in any BE 100 or completed a BE105 or higher in the current or previous calendar year.
For HT100cm – Riders who have competed under FEI rules in the relevant discipline in the last 5 calendar years. For eventing restrictions at CT75, CT85, HT80, CH80 HT90 and CH90 applies to 2* and above only. Horses may not have completed at BE Novice competition or above in the current or previous calendar year.

RULES
BODY PROTECTORS MUST BE WORN FOR CROSS-COUNTRY PHASE FOR ALL CLASSES

Objections to be made in writing to the Organisers, accompanied by a deposit of £20, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld. 3. General Rules
HATS must be worn whenever mounted and conform to PAS015 (1998 or 2011). VG01.040 2014-12. with a BSI Kite mark or Inspec IC mark ASTM F1163.2004a onwards with SEI mark SNELL E2001 or 2016 (No additional mark required) ONLY Jockey skull hats without a peak (greater than 5mm smooth and rounded in nature) may be worn for cross country. Hat silks may be worn with flexible peak. It must also comply with the above safety standards for hats.
BODY PROTECTORS A body protector is obligatory for all arena eventing and cross-country events and are also strongly recommended for all show jumping events. A BETA Level 3 (purple label) which has a 2009 or Blue 2018 label must be worn. Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. If a rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector and if activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets and Helite Air Jackets are permitted. It is recommended that body protectors are replaced once they are more than 5 years old. Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events.
CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn. Long hair is to be suitably tied back. ALL horses and ponies must be five years old and over. ALL Riders to be 8 years old and over.
ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final.

INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover.


HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers. Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

COVID-19 precautions
You must not attend site if you, or any of those travelling with you, or anyone from your household is exhibiting any symptoms of being unwell.
Social distancing of 2 meters or more must be strictly adhered to at all times.
Please only bring one helper with you.
We will not accept anyone just “turning up”.
No person should enter any other Lorry or car/trailer, or move close to any other rider, client, instructor, official or member of staff or any other member of the public at any time.
You will have an allotted time for your competitive round, please only arrive on site a maximum of 1 hour before your time and leave as promptly as possible afterwards, to ensure limited numbers on site at any time.
Please do not enter the arena more than 30 minutes before your allotted time in order to warm up..
Please ensure you bring an adequate supply of water for you and your horse.
Government guidelines could change quickly at any time; therefore Solihull Riding Club reserve the right to close site at short notice.
