Open to stallions, mares and geldings four years old or over, registered in the main body of their respective Breed Society stud book. Ponies may be measured at the judge’s discretion. A pony is not eligible to compete if, before 1st January in the current year, (NB: Please note any results from 2020 are exempt), it has done any of the following: i) Won an open NPS affiliated M&M WHP class ii) Qualified for the Horse of the Year Show or RIHS Open M & M WHP Class iii) Qualified for the NPS M&M Novice or Intermediate WHP final at the NPS Summer Championship show. (NB Ponies can compete as novices in this competition for two consecutive years provided that they do not submit an entry to the final in the first year. 2020 is excluded when calculating consecutive years. iv) If a pony qualifies for HOYS for RIHS in its second year it is immediately denoviced and cannot compete in the Novice WHP Final Ponies to be shown in a snaffle bit.

Closing date for entries: One week before show date.
Entries on the day only for pre-entered exhibitors and must be made online. There will be no secretaries office at the show.
MEMBERSHIP OF ANY SOCIETY IS NOT REQUIRED TO COMPETE OR QUALIFY IN ANY CLASSES.

Entry fees : £12.00, Late entries £15.

Special Classes
First and second prizewinners from Classes 1 to 5 to compete for the Championship.

Terms & Conditions
COVID-19 GUIDELINES FOR EXHIBITORS
Every exhibitor is required to take personal responsibility for themselves and their party for not spreading the Covid-19 virus and obeying all rules regarding social distancing. Failure to do so will result in removal from the showground.
1) DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE DISPLAYING THE CORONAVIRUS SYMPTOMS
2) Numbers will be issued when entering on-line – please produce your own number to be worn by rider/handler
3) Rosettes to be collected after the class – We are unable to sign cards.
4) Social distance from members other than your family group by 2 metres (or current government guidelines.)
5) A Rider must not ride for multiple stables at a single show.
6) Use hand sanitisers on regular basis.
7) Use lorry toilets where possible to minimise the risk.
8) Obey orders given by STEWARDS regarding social distancing in classes and the warm up area.
9) Wear face coverings wherever possible to avoid spreading the virus
10) Park vehicles safely.
11) Only animals competing at the show be allowed on the showground.
12) Show Organisers have taken responsibility to set safeguards in place for exhibitors but attendance at the Show is at your own risk.
13) Do not arrive at the showground before 8.30am.
14) There will be no catering at the show.

General Rules
Dogs are not allowed on the show site
Lunging is not allowed in the lorry park or working-in areas.
Passports will be inspected and all ponies entered must have been vaccinated within the last twelve months and the last vaccination given at least 7 days before the date of the show.
Qualifying rounds for NPS competitions are open to ponies owned by NPS members and non-members but only ponies owned by adult NPS Qualifying or Life members are eligible to qualify for the final of the competition at the NPS Summer Championship Show at Malvern from 3 rd – 5 th August 2021. The highest placed pony, if owned by an NPS member, in each class will qualify for the final. Qualification may pass down to third place if the first and second ponies are already qualified.
