Terms & Conditions
HEATH FARM/MUNSTEAD COURSE HIRE
By making a booking online all hirers will agree to these extra Covid-19 related conditions:
• On arrival at the Munstead please text 07768740969 to check in so we aware you have arrived. If you are running late for your slot please do let us know and we can assess whether or not you can start late/move into the next slot. This way we can ensure there is no congestion on facilities.
• The booking is for the rider and one other person to accompany them. Any children attending must be accompanied by adults the whole time and must be from the same household. No exceptions or hire will be cancelled.
• Toilet facilities will be closed and locked.
• Correct hats and boots AND BODY PROTECTORS must be worn at all times when on a horse, including Show Jumping – due to delayed reponse times for Ambulances at current time.
• You must park giving yourself plenty of space to conform to social distancing.
• A trainer will be allowed to attend as an extra person from another household allowed under social distancing guidelines but must keep 2m apart from the hirer at all times. No Spectators allowed – only essential help.
• Anyone feeling unwell, with Covid 19 type symptoms must not attend. Please contact us for a refund or to re-arrange your booking for another time

• All attendees must adhere to government social distancing guidelines at all times – you are coming to use the facilities and then leave. Any persons attending that choose to ignore these guidelines will be asked to leave the farm.

Cross Country
• We will limit the number of horses XC Schooling to 6 per 2 hour slot. You can start any time within those 2 hours, but must be finished by the end of the time slot.
• Please follow signs down the middle of the field to the XC schooling areas. The outside tracks have been re-seeded, so no horses are to go around the outside of the schooling fields, or anywhere that is strung off.

Show Jumping
• Each booking slot is for one horse, no sharing of the Show Jump arena is allowed. If you want to bring two horses to SJ then please book two slots.
• Hirers and the person helping MUST BRING THEIR OWN GLOVES to be worn at all times on the premises. Sanitisers are available and must be used before and after using the facilities. Please take your used gloves home, or dispose of in the bins provided.
• BODY PROTECTORS MUST BE WORN SHOW JUMPING (Due to delayed emergency response times)
• Please only touch any equipment if absolutely necessary (gates, cups, wings, poles)
• Please leave SJ course as found with all poles off the floor.

Heath Farm/Munstead are aware of our customers anxieties and we are taking a reflective and proactive approach to the Covid-19 situation under direction from BEF so riders can carry on their professional business whilst also protecting ourselves and our staff. We continue to monitor all government guidance in relation to the running of sporting events in the face of the Covid-19 situation.

General Rules I agree to
1. Book in advance and leave my time of arrival and contact telephone number with Heath Farm. 2. Be accompanied when riding/schooling at Heath Farm. 3. To wear appropriate hard hat with straps fastened, body protector and suitable footwear. 4. To familiarise myself with the jumps I intend to use. 5. Only school a horse which is fit. 6. Not to ride in a manner, which may cause annoyance or danger to other riders or users. 7. To not muck out lorries/trailers onto Heath Farm 8. To report all accidents/breakages to the cottage or yard.

I accept that save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Heath Farm or Munstead Horse Trials Ltd or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither Heath Farm or Munstead Horse Trials Ltd nor any of its agents, employees or representatives accept any liability for accident, loss, damage injury or illness to horse owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever and I hereby indemnify Heath Farm/Munstead Horse Trials Ltd should any claims arise.
I acknowledge that riding is a dangerous sport and I confirm that I carry third party liability insurance. I understand I may be called upon to produce evidence of such insurance.
I have read and understand the General Rules and agree to abide by them.
