A fun, welcoming and encouraging summer show jumping league - open to members of Aspley Guise & District Riding club, Oakley Hunt West Pony club and non-members. 

Held at Wakes End Farm with all new warm up facility.

Riding club members will accumulate points for placings which will go towards prizes which will be awarded at the AGM.

Pony club members will be awarded separate placing on the day.

Classes will run from up to cross poles / leadrein – 90cm with allocated times. Class 1 will be from cross poles working up to 50cm

Please state on your entry the names of anyone you are travelling with so that we can try to group your times close together to minimise time at the venue.

Course walk every hour, use of the warm up arena 30 minutes before your allocated time, you may also warm up in the field before this.

Rosettes 1st – 6th place

Vouchers 1st – 3rd place (this is entry dependant so for every 5 entries we get we will do 1 place with prize money eg. 5 entries = 1st place prize voucher, 10 entries = 1st & 2nd place prize vouchers, 15+ entries = 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prize vouchers)

AGDRC Members: £14.00 per class

Non-members: £16.00 per class

 We are hoping the on site cafe will be open serving food and drink on the day.

If you withdraw after the closing date entry fees will be retained by the Club. This is to ensure that the venue and associated costs in running this event are met. Withdrawals before this date can be refunded.

1. Correct show attire must be worn by all competitors. In the case of extreme hot weather, riding jackets may be forfeited but shoulders must be covered.

2. Hard hats complying with the BHS 3-point safety regulations must be worn at all times when riding. AG&DRC also require that chin straps must be worn. We strongly recommend you wear hats bearing the code EN13 84 PAS 015 prefix SE1 or ASTN (Aqua tag).

3. It is the rider/handler's responsibility to ensure their horse/pony is tacked up correctly. Random spot checks may be carried out.

4. Objections must be made within 30 minutes of the incident and accompanied by a deposit of £20.00 which will be forfeited if the objection is overruled.

5. The organisers will not accept any responsibility or liability for loss, damage or illness to any property, person or animal however caused.

6. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times on any part of the showground.

7. No horse or pony under the age of 4 years may be ridden on the showground.

8. No galloping or cantering on the showground is allowed except in the ring/practice areas.

9. Improper use of whips or spurs at any time on the showground will result in elimination.

10. Club membership runs from January 1st - December 31st.

11. The ruling of any judge or official is final and any person found arguing will be asked to leave the showground.

12. Any person found mistreating any animal or using bad language will be asked to leave the showground.

13. NON MEMBERS need to provide evidence that they have 3rd Party Liability Insurance. Please email a copy of your insurance certificate to the organiser before the event. This can be held on file for future events with the Riding Club.

14. This competition will be run under BSJA Table A rules. All classes will be run 'Single Phase'.

15. No refunds after the close of entries unless a vet's certificate or doctor's noe is produced.

16. All droppings and hay must be picked up.
