Entries close when full or Tuesday 27 October 2020 (Late entries, if accepted £5.00 extra)

JUDGING:
The least jumping penalties plus nearest the ‘Bogey Time’ will determine results.
Competitors will be eliminated after 3 refusals at one jump, after 4 refusals over whole course or 2 rider falls.
Riders may only continue on the course with permission from a Petersfield Official/Jump Judge or Steward.
NOTE:
Hats and Body Protectors will be checked on arrival.
Please display your number at front of vehicle.
Failure to report 15 mins before the correct time for will mean the rider risks elimination.
A tack check will be in operation.

Vaccinations will be required according to Pony Club Rules 2020
It is illegal to travel your horse without its passport; spot checks may be carried out
ALL CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS WILL BE ADHERED TO ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT
NO ADMISSION TO THE SHOW GROUND WITHOUT AN ENTRY - ARRIVE, COMPETE, LEAVE

1. The event will be run under The Pony Club Eventing Rules 2020. 2. All riding hats/body protectors must conform to Pony Club Rules 2020. Competitors may not compete without a tagged hat and must wear this at all times when mounted with the chinstrap fastened. Back protectors are compulsory. Air jackets ARE NOT to be worn under any item of clothing. 3. No jewellery is allowed. 4. The judge’s decision is final in all matters. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel, add or amend any of the conditions or competitions, as they think fit and to refuse entry at their discretion. Objections must be lodged in writing within 30 minutes of the incident, together with a £10.00 deposit, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld. 5. Withdrawals can be made without forfeit up to the close of entries on Tuesday 27 October. Withdrawals made after 27 October will only be refunded with the presentation of a doctor’s or vet’s certificate (less £5.00 administration fee) 6. In the event of cancellation prior to the event a £5.00 administration charge will be made. If the event is cancelled on the day there will be no refund. 7. Entries will be limited and will not be accepted by telephone. 8. Numbers will not be given out for Number Bibs. Print your own numbers in font size 300 – THREE copies (1 for front of bib; 1 for back of bib and 1 for your vehicle). 9. Bring your own number bib. 10. Horses and ponies may only enter two classes. 11. Any competitor in difficulty at a fence, must make way for a following competitor, who is about to overtake. 12. Please take all litter and droppings home with you. 13. Disclaimer of Liability: Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 14. Health and Safety: The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards. 15. Competitors who are not members of The Pony Club are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Petersfield Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
