Suitable for all abilities, from beginners and green horses through to competition riders and advanced horses. Please state on your entry the level you are working at in dressage, the maximum height you would like to jump SJ & XC and the height of your horse.
Tuition will be provided by Kelly Turner & David Britnell. Four ridden sessions across Friday and Saturday including one Flatwork session, one polework/gridwork, one show jumping and one cross country. Then on the third ridden day we will be running a training style mock one day event with an accredited dressage judge and scored SJ/XC style phases.
General camp schedule (subject to change)
THURSDAY: Arrival from 4pm. Settle your horse in to his/her home for the weekend, and if you wish, you can take the opportunity to check out the excellent local hacking. Dinner and a meet and greet session in the evening, before settling in to your horsebox or tent for a good night's sleep!
FRIDAY: Morning stables, breakfast and a ridden session in the morning. Followed by a group lunch and another session in the afternoon. Evening stables. A good hearty dinner to replace all the burnt calories and evening talk from David Britnell on how to produce a Badminton horse.
SATURDAY: Morning stables, breakfast and a ridden session in the morning, Lunch and a second session in the afternoon. More delicious food and some evening entertainment in the form of a good old fashioned Halloween themed fancy dress party and games for our lovely chairlady Pip’s 21st(ish) Birthday!
SUNDAY: Morning stables, breakfast and start of the mock ODE, lunch followed by the final stages of the mock ODE, Muck out and pack away. Departure by 6pm.
