Show Information

PLEASE ENSURE YOU BRING YOUR HORSE’S PASSPORT WITH YOU FOR CHECKING.  The Croft EC only need yearly vaccinations for Unaffiliated Shows.

Indoor Arena and Outdoor Arena are both rubber & sand.  No skipping lorries out in parking area, pickup all mess before leaving and NO DOGS ALLOWED AT ALL.

Entries close Sunday 1 March 2020 - Times will available on the Thursday before the Competition on our Website.

Entries are strictly limited to 15 per class. Class will close early if it is full.

(please note cheques take 3 days to clear at the bank, if does not clear by close of entries date, entry will be declined)

Prize Information

Results qualify towards Mal-Don Championship for classes 2, 3 and 4. Darren Doyle will be sponsoring classes 1 and 5 and the results will accumulate throughout the year – TDRC winner to be announced at our AGM.

Rosettes to 6th Place and Special Rosette to the highest unplaced TDRC member in all classes.

Terms & Conditions
  1. The decision of the Judges, Secretary and Stewards is final.  The Show is run under British Dressage Rules.  As per BD Rules – 2 numbers will need to be worn. 
  2. PLEASE ENSURE YOU BRING YOUR HORSE’S PASSPORT WITH YOU FOR CHECKING.  The Croft EC only need yearly vaccinations for Unaffiliated Shows.
  3. Once a competitors entry has been accepted it will be assumed that they intend to take part unless they notify the promoters to the contrary before the closing date.  A full refund will be issued if before the closing date, less a £1.00 administration fee and the booking fee.
  4. No entry fee will be refunded on withdrawal after the closing date, unless a veterinary or medical certificate is produced not later than 4 days after the event (less a £1.00 administration fee and the booking fee).
  5. The promoters reserve the right to cancel, split or re-arrange any class, and/or the event at their discretion.  Entry fees may be refunded less a £1.00 administration fee and the booking fee.
  6. Correct riding attire must be worn by all Riders.  In particular, everyone mounted, whether a competitor or not, must wear an approved riding hat as per British Dressage Rules:  www.britishdressage.co.uk/rules.  Failure to do so will incur elimination.
  7. No claim can be entertained for anything that may happen to competitors, their property, servants, or horses in connection with, or arising out of this event.  It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the promoters against any legal action arising from such an incident.
  8. The promoters reserve the right to refuse any entry without giving any reason whatsoever.
  9. An objection to the result of any class may only be made by an owner, his authorised agent or rider of a horse competing in the event.  Any such person must make his objection in writing to the Secretary within 30 minutes of that objection and pay a £10 deposit, returnable within 7 days if the objections upheld.
  10. It is the responsibility of competitors to know the rules – our stewards and officials are there to help and advise.  Please remember all our helpers are volunteers.
  11. Horses and ponies must be 4 years old or over.
  12. Lunging is not permitted in any of the arenas at any time.
  13. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
  14. The promoters reserve the right to ask any competitor or visitor in breach of these terms and conditions, to leave the grounds immediately.
  15. The promoters reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions should the need arise.
  16. Smoking is not permitted whilst mounted, or in either the outdoor or indoor arenas, or inside any buildings.
  17. The promoters will be taking photographs and videos during our events and these may be posted on the Website and Facebook pages of TDRC and/or The Croft EC and used for marketing purposes.

  19. NO DOGS ALLOWED ON CROFT EQUESTRIAN CENTRE PROPERTY AT ALL – AND PLEASE ENSURE YOU PICK UP ANY RUBBISH/DROPPINGS BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!
