Qualifier for Elandlodge.com National Hunter Trials Championships
Body Protectors and Hard Hats to the current BSI standard must be worn by all riders at all times when mounted. Medical armbands are recommended.
1. Horses and ponies can be ridden only once in each class. No horse to do more than two classes on one day
2. No entries will be accepted by telephone.
3. Scoring for classes all individual classes and the 65cm pairs will be decided by the clear round and a bogey time. The 80 and 90 Pairs classes will be judged on a bogey time based on a fair hunting pace, with no jumping or dressing penalties.
4. Any competitor eliminated must leave the course immediately at a walk.
5. Any competitor in difficulty at a fence, must make way for a following competitor, who is about to overtake.
6. Please provide your own number bib. Paper Number inserts will be provided.
7. NO REFUNDS can be made, except for cancellation of the event, when entry fees will be returned less £5 per entry for administration costs.
8. The decision of the judges will be final and the committee reserve the right to cancel or amend any of the conditions or competitions as they think fit, and to refuse any entries, or to ask any person to leave the ground.
9. Any objections must be made to the secretary in writing within 30 minutes of the published results, accompanied by a deposit of £20, returnable if the objection is sustained. Videos are not acceptable.
10. The organisers and Heath Farm do not hold themselves responsible for anything that happens to competitors, spectators, their property or horses in connection with this event or arising out of this event. It shall be a condition that all entrants shall agree to indemnify the organisers and Heath Farm against any legal action arising out of this event.
11. The organisers and Heath Farm take reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safely of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards at all times.
12. To be run under Current Government Covid Guidelines.
13. Online entries are prefered but will incur a £1.50 card handling fee. All clear round entries will be on the day (cash at ringside)
14. Clear Round Show Jumping is dependant on the weather. We reserve the right to cancel it if it is deemed to be too wet in the grass SJ arena.
15. ElandLodge.com National Hunter Trials Championships to be held at Eland Lodge, Derbyshire. The top 3 riders qualify in each qualifying class provided they jumped clear. www.elandlodge.com for more details.
