All bedding & forage is BYO or can be purchased on arrival – strictly card only.
Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5. Any withdrawals before midday on Monday 27th will be refunded in full, strictly no refunds after this date.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you back to Bicton Arena for our first stay away competition post-COVID 19. Please can we draw your attention to the following points, all of which have been put into place to ensure your safety, and we would please ask that you adhere to them: Upon arrival you will be checked in and numbers will be strictly limited to the names submitted when your entry was made. No admittance will be given to anyone not on the register. There will be no exceptions. - As per BS COVID-19 protocol, riders may be accompanied by one other person and one additional person for every additional horse entered.
- Junior Club/Unaffiliated riders in attendance are limited to one adult per child, and one additional person allowed for any additional ponies entered (as per horse shows).
- Parking slots will be marked out in accordance with social distancing regulations (minimum of 5m between each slot).
- Tacking up to take place within the designated parking area or stable.
- The show office & stable manager will have restricted opening hours.
- A steward will be appointed by the venue to man the practice jumps at all times (No grooms allowed in practice arena).
- Times must be adhered to.
- Please follow the one-way system and do not stop to chat or loiter.
- One competitor to be in the ring at any one time.
- A designated cool down area will be provided. The practice arena is not to be used for cool down.
- Return to designated parking area or stable to untack.
- No prize-giving will take place on the day and all results will be posted online.
- Prize money will be awarded via electronic banking where applicable & a Prize Money Claim Form must be returned within the period stipulated (available on Bicton Arena website).
- Social distancing should be adhered to, maintaining a 1 -2m distance between members at all times.
- Members should wash/sanitise hands regularly.
- Members are reminded that the use of face masks can help to reduce the spread of infection and are encouraged to wear them, but this is not mandated.
- On site catering will be available outside for take-away foods only. Social distancing must be maintained throughout the purchasing and consumption of any food and drink.
- The clubhouse marquee will not be in use for this show.
- Camping is permitted but government guidelines must be adhered too.
- All classes are drawn order & will be drawn at 5pm the night before.
- From midday on Monday 27th July any class changes or late entries will incur a £2 late fee per class / change.
- Any withdrawals before midday on Monday 27th July will be refunded in full, strictly no refunds after this date unless a replacement is found.
- The organiser reserves the right to move classes & arenas... in the current climate this is likely.
- Dogs must be on a lead & picked up after.
- No lungeing.
