Warm-up arena: Andrews Bowen (40 x 60m Pro Wax). Competition arena: Outdoor Olympic Arena 80x52m premium surface.

A two phase horse trial taking place on our all weather surface. The first section is over show jumps and the second is timed over natural obstacles. Competitors must enter the start box and wait for the judges bell before beginning the 2nd phase over natural obstacles. There will be an optimum time for completion of the natural obstacles. Penalties will occur if the optimum time is exceeded or if a competitor is under the optimum time by more than 15 seconds Any jumping penalties acquired from either phase will added to the competitors results. Please refer to the Eventer Challenge Rules available on the show day for a breakdown of penalties that may be acquired. Within the 2nd phase (Rustic Section) there will have an optional ‘joker’ fence which will be the water jump. If a competitor successfully jumps the ‘joker’ fence an extra point will be added to the competitors results for the Summerhouse EC Eventer Challenge Championship League Table. This must be jumped clear on the first attempt. The winner is the horse with the lowest penalty score at the end. In the event of a tie, the competitor closest to the optimum time will win.
