About Alex

Alex is an International Dressage rider and trainer based at Collective Equestrian, a specialist training centre, in the heart of the Somerset countryside.

Highly qualified, Alex holds his UKCC3 coaching certificate and is the youngest ever British Dressage List 3 Judge.

Alex’s in-depth knowledge of the sport of dressage has allowed him to be instrumental in the success of many horse and rider combinations training them up to PSG as well as coaching individuals to represent their country at international Para-Dressage competitions.

In conjunction with his various coaching accolades, Alex himself is very competitive in his own riding career, having represented Great Britain numerous times internationally on multiple horses, including riding at the 2018 YR European Championships in Fontainebleau for the British team.

Alex loves to teach horse and rider combinations of all levels and all disciplines in order to help them progress, whether it be with their Dressage or to help their flatwork for eventing and show-jumping.
