Show Information

Tracy Young is a Dressage rider and competitor who has over 30 years of experience, training and competing young horses through to the F.E.I. Levels and Freestyle.

Tracy has also started over 100 young horses under saddle and has extensive knowledge of ground work, helping horses overcome any fears and helping them to gain confidence in their handler.Having re trained many horses from other disciplines and having bred and raised her own horses and clients horses with great success. In California Tracy competed successfully on Warmbloods, Morgan's, Cobs, Thoroughbreds, ponies, and trained many other breeds and re schooled horses from other disciplines. Whether starting your horses competitive career from first rides to International level competition Or advancing you and your horses skills, no matter what discipline or level, Tracy is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.

Tracy enjoys teaching both Adults and Juniors, following the training scale for the horse and teaching the rider biomechanics and body awareness. Thus helping to form a willing partnership.

Tracy has trained and competed extensively in the United States for the last 20 years, whilst breeding her own talented sport horses. From an all-around British Pony Club background, a former member of the Oakley "West", where she earned her Pony Club B and competed in Eventing, Show Jumping, Combined Training, Tetrathlon and Polo. She has the National Certificate in the management of horses, from the West Oxfordshire Technical College of Stud and Stable Husbandry and her British Horse Society Stages 1 & 2.

Tracy has trained with many top level Olympic Trainers and Judges and is a qualified U.K.C.C. Dressage Coach and is a U.K. List 4 judge trainee.

If you would like to help raise money Leighton Linslade homeless Service https://www.llhsblackhorse.org.uk/ and enjoy a few hours of fun with your horse please sign up for a shared lesson and come in Christmas attire. Fun competitions like best Christmas costume, Best halt, best rein back,egg n spoon, money under your seat whilst riding, and other fun stuff, small prizes. Or sign up for a regular private session and enjoy the use of a large arena and some training without the pressure of a completion! All ages and levels welcome!
