If you are entering more than one class, we will endeavour to keep times as close together as possible, on a first come, first served basis.

Combination not to have won a prelim or higher test. Horses entered in the team competition are not allowed to ride the walk and trot element of this class but are permitted to ride the prelim test as long as they have never been placed 1-3rd in any prelim or higher test. However, HC entries are permitted. Prizes awarded on overall percentage.

AREA 11 TEAM COMPETITION ENTRIES
AREA 11 TEAM COMPETITION for teams of 3: One to ride Preliminary 13, One riding Preliminary 14, and One Novice 27.
Entries for teams to be made by Team Manager by post/cheque or email/BACs. Entry form available on BRC Area 11 website, or email Julie Johnson – julielisajohnson@gmail.com for entry form.
ENTRY FEE FOR TEAMS - £50
CLOSING DATE FOR TEAM ENTRIES - Wednesday 10 April 2019
Teams will be given priority over individual entries in Classes 2, 3 and 4 for up to 3 team entries per Club. Places for Clubs entering 4 or more teams will be balloted if classes are full.
Team members are also entered as individuals in their respective classes.

Special Classes
This show is a qualifier for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead from Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th September 2019. The Championships are for unaffiliated and amateur competitors in Dressage from Intro to Elementary, Show Jumping from Lead Rein to 1.05m; Showing for lead rein, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more, Eventers Challenge from 60cm through to 1m. Qualification: 1st – 4th in dressage, show jumping & showing and 1st-6th in eventers challenges. Bring your Personal Qualification Form available from www.sunshinetour.co.uk or ask the Secretary for a ‘Wild Card’. Terms & Conditions
1. All events will be run in accordance with the current BHS Riding Clubs Rules Book. A copy of the relevant Rules Book will be available at the Show Secretary’s Office on the day of the show. 2. The decisions of the judges are final. 3. Objections must be made in writing within 30 minutes of the incident, accompanied by a deposit of £20, which will be returned if the objection is upheld. 4. Neither the organisers nor the owners of the venue accept liability for any claims in respect of injury or damage to any person, animal or property, how-so-ever caused. 5. The organisers reserve the right to change judges or appoint substitutes and to amend the schedule as necessary. 6. The organisers reserve the right to reject or cancel any entry made by any persons or cancel any class (refunding all fees paid). 7. Entry fees must be paid at time of entry. No entries will be refunded without a Veterinary Surgeon’s or Doctors certificate. 8. DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES. 9. A riding or skull cap complying with at least PAS 015 or higher must be worn at all times when mounted with chin-strap fastened. Team rider’s hats should be checked and marked with the current ‘aqua’ BRC tag before competing. 10. Misuse of spurs or whips will incur elimination. Use of bad language by a competitor will result in them being asked to leave the showground. 11. All competitors must act in a safe and responsible manner at all times. 12. In the event of the show being cancelled, entry fees will be returned (less £2 per competitor to cover administration expenses). 13. All horses and ponies ridden in classes must be 4 yrs of age or over. 14. Please be advised that photography and/or filming will be taking place at our events. If you do not wish to appear in any images captured please inform the secretary so that we can take appropriate steps to ensure you are not included. The photographs/film could potentially be included in publicity sent to the local press or in WSRC/Area 11 Riding Club promotional materials in the future and may also be published on the WSRC Riding Club website and social media.

PLEASE ABIDE BY THE MERRIST WOOD RULES 1. Ensure you pick up your horses droppings from the car park and warm up arenas.
2. No hay to be fed outside lorries.
3. Horses and ponies must not left alone when tied outside horseboxes or trailers.
