Show Information
Our 60m x 25m, floodlit, Indoor Arena, with Andrews and Bowen Prowax Surface, is available to hire by the hour - complete with a full course of BSJA show jumps, built by a BSJA approved course builder. Come and practice for that big show, or just for fun.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Bookings & payment in advance online. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Humberstone Farm EC.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
Non Members: £17 for first horse per hour, £6 per additional horse per hour
£5 for lights
Members: £15 for first horse per hour, £5 per additional horse per hour
£5 for lights

Terms & Conditions
Before completion of booking form, please read the following terms and conditions. With your booking you acknowledge that you are taking part in a risk sport and that you are a competent rider at the level you are riding. Your booking constitutes agreement to the Terms and Conditions listed below.

Legal
1. It is the hirers responsibility to familiarise themselves with emergency exits, procedures, emergency telephone numbers and first aid boxes. All hirers understand it is also their responsibility to educate their guests of such procedures.
2. Humberstone Farm have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure the health and safety of visitors. For these measures to be effective everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid accidents occurring and obey the instructions of staff, organisers and all other officials and stewards at all times.
3. If an accident occurs at our facilities, an Accident Report should be completed immediately. An accident book is available at the entrance of the arena. As well as completing a book, accidents however large or small are to be reported to Martin as soon as possible on 07725 971543.
4. All hirers must be accompanied by another person or provide contact details for next of kin in-case of emergency.
5. Humberstone Farm do not accept liability for injury, damage or loss suffered to anyone hiring the facilities, their horses, grooms, friends, vehicles or property, however caused, and under any circumstances, except proven negligence of the owners. Claims for negligence against the venue must be submitted in writing on the day of hire.
6. We strongly advise that you take out your own personal insurance for both yourself and your horse.

Arena Conditions
7. Hire times must be adhered to, if this time period is not respected an additional charge will incur for the additional time overrun or the slot will be forfeited
8. If you are using the show-jumps, you are to check the heights and striding distances yourself – the heights and striding left by the previous occupant, may not be suitable for your horse.
9. All facilities used must be left in a clean and tidy condition, as found. A further charge will be made for facilities that have been left untidy.
10. Horse droppings must be picked up in the arena and surrounding areas. Again, a further charge will be made for droppings left. This also applies to feed and bedding.
11. Any equipment used should be returned to its original location after use, unless equipment was already set up prior to hire, or you have received permission from Humberstone Farm staff to leave out.
12. Damage to or loss of property must be paid for. Any damages (before or after use) to be reported to the booking member of staff.
13. Children under 16 should be supervised at all times.
14. Dogs are welcome on-site but must be kept on a lead at all times.
15. Litter is to be taken home or disposed of in the bins provided.
16. Smoking is prohibited inside the arena and/or spectator area.
17. The welfare and health of all horses is paramount. The owner of any horse deemed to be sick or injured in any way will be asked to remove the horse from the venue.
18. Due to the huge volume of traffic on and off the site, we are unable to ensure the main entrance gate is kept closed. Please only enter if you are happy to accept that the gates may be open.
19. No horse/pony is to be left unattended unless secured in a lorry or trailer attached to a vehicle.
20. In all competitions the Judge’s decision shall be final.

Payment & Cancellations
21. Payment for arena hire will be collected on initial booking via our website, or upfront with cash or cheque whilst attending the arena.
22. All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the booked date for day and hourly hire. Deposits are non-refundable.

Equestrian Clothing
23. It is mandatory for all riders to wear a protective helmet to British standard EN1384 Or PAS015, at all times whilst mounted on Humberstone Farm property.
24. Body protectors are advised, and suitable footwear should be worn at all times.

Trainers/Instructors
In addition to the terms and conditions listed above:
25. All individuals using our facilities for instructing, must be qualified in their vocational area and registered with professional bodies where Humberstone Farm deems appropriate.
26. Trainers/Instructors must provide proof of public liability insurance certificates for any bookings.

Event Organisers
It is the hirers responsibility for ensuring all of the above terms and conditions listed above are upheld. In addition:
27. Organisers must ensure the car park is attended and all vehicles parked appropriately. Humberstone Farm reserves the right to charge if venue staff are required to manage the car park.
28. Organisers must provide proof of public liability insurance certificates for any events.
