All classes open to MEMBERS and NON MEMBERS, but only members will be allocated AGDRC League points. This final show carries double championship points!

Class 1a,1b and 1c are special classes for juniors under 16

In these special junior classes we will not be enforcing all British Dressage tack and turnout rules as follows, but please try to make an effort to look neat and tidy out of respect for our judge!   
  • Riders under 12 may use balance support reins,‘Grass reins’ or ‘Daisy reins', as long as they are fitted in line with the Pony Club rules.
  • Ponies may wear saddle cloths, girths etc in any colour
  • Riders MUST wear a suitable safe riding hat, to a current standard, appropriate footwear and gloves.
  • Riders do not need to wear show attire if they do not have it
  • Long hair must be tied back. 
A special rosette will be given for the best turned out combination across class 1 all sections

For all other classes please select Senior or Junior section on your entry. A Junior is anyone under the age of 18 on 1st Jan 2019.

Payment Details & Event Fees

We would prefer that you do your entry online in order to save time for your hard working AGDRC committee.
You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System:
Payment is secure and it goes directly to AG&DRC.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Entries: Members £13 per class, Non members £16 per class
Late entries will be accommodated if space permits with a surcharge of £2.00 per entry.

Rosettes: Will be awarded up to 8th place in each class – places will be determined by the score and classes will not be split between Members and Non-Members. Special rosettes will be awarded to the highest placed Member in each class and to the highest placed Junior in each class (Please select Senior or Junior section on your entry – a Junior is anyone under the age of 18 on 1 January 2019).


The Caerphilly Boy Trophy: This is the reward programme to recognise Club Members who take part in the Dressage Series. Points are awarded based on the SCORE achieved in the test, including Intro to Advanced Medium.All classes at all Shows will allow members to collect ‘Championship points’ that will be added up to provide our Award winning combinations for 2019. The Show at Wing on Sunday 29th September will carry double points to be added to those awarded throughout the Series.


ROR Riding Club Challenge

We are taking part in the 2019 Retraining of Racehorses Riding Club Challenge. To be eligible to win an ROR rosette for the highest point scoring ex racehorse at our competitions, please register with ROR at www.ror.org.uk and simply supply your ROR number and your horse's full racing name on our entry form.

Withdrawals/Refunds

  No refunds after close of entries unless a vet’s certificate or doctor’s note is produced.

Terms & Conditions

1. The Organisers and Land Owners will not hold themselves responsible for any incident or injury to riders, owners, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever, however caused. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the promoters against any legal action arising from such incident. 2. Competitors are asked to wear correct dress wherever possible and hard hats complying with the BHS 3-point safety regulations must be worn at all times when riding. AG&DRC also require that chin straps must be worn. We strongly recommend you wear hats bearing the code EN13 84 PAS 015 prefix SE1 or ASTN. ( Aqua tag in 2018 ) 3. The competition will be run under British Riding Club rules 2019 4. The decisions of the judges and/or Show Organiser are final. 5. If class full before closing date, the organiser reserves the right not to accept further entries. 6. Dogs are allowed only in the car park and must be on lead 7. No refunds after close of entries unless a vet’s certificate or doctor’s note is produced. 8. Please clear all droppings/hay. No mucking out of trailers/lorries permitted 9. Please note: Riders ride at their own risk. Paramedic cover will not be provided. 10. Equine Influenza: We require all horses and ponies to be vaccinated against equine influenza. Horses need to have had their initial course of 3 vaccinations, followed by annual boosters given within 365 days of the previous injection. Or, for newly vaccinated horses, at least the primary course of the first 2 injections must have been given, between 21 & 92 days apart, with the second injection having been given at least 7 days prior to the event. Please ensure you bring your horse's passport.
