Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
All horses undergoing hydrotherapy treatment at the Brooksby Equine Rehabilitation Centre do so at their owner’s risk.
All horses using Brooksby Equine Rehabilitation Centre must be fully up to date with their vaccinations and passports provided to prove this.
All persons entering Brooksby Equine Rehabilitation Centre do so at their own risk.
All persons entering the Brooksby Equine Rehabilitation Centre are required to wear non-slip footwear. Horses using the Aqua-Treadmill should not be freshly shod or have road nails. If freshly shod, please ask your farrier to file down the nails so that they are smoother and less abrasive to the treadmill belt. Staff can deny access to completion of session if footwear is not suitable.
Horses must be clean to use the Hydrotherapy Equipment to maintain water hygiene.
Prior to arrival: As a minimum, feet must be picked out and scrubbed clean with legs washed. Horses using the water treadmill will have their tail bandaged up by a member of Brooksby Equine Rehabilitation Centre staff. If due to health and safety reasons it would be preferable for you to do this yourself, please complete prior to arrival.
We must be advised if your horse’s condition changes and your Veterinary Surgeon wishes for changes to be made to your horse’s treatment programme.
Please be on time for your appointment and make contact regarding your estimated time of arrival if held up.
No unauthorised persons shall enter the therapy centre during sessions. Each customer, owner, rider or guardian/groom, shall be solely responsible for consequences of loss or damage one to, occasioned by, or arising from any animal in their care, and indemnify the Brooksby Equine Rehabilitation Centre, their officials, staff and invites against all liabilities, damages, actions, claims, proceedings, costs and/or expense in relation to or arising from his/her presence on the premises.
Brooksby Equine Rehabilitation Centre, their staff and agents cannot be held responsible for any accidents, theft, loss or damage, how so ever caused, arising out of or whilst you (the customer, owner, rider or guardian/groom) are at the premises.
All dogs to be kept on leads at all times including in the lorry park. No dogs are welcome inside the Brooksby Equine Rehabilitation Centre.
Cancellations without 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the normal session price unless there are extenuating circumstances and proof provided in form of a vet certificate.

By making a booking or payment to any of our Therapy and Rehabilitation sessions, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions. Please note that 1st and possibly 2nd visit may not use water and/or allow a full work-out, as the horse will have to get used to the treadmill. The session will on average take no longer than 30 minutes.

Thank you for your cooperation!
