All training will be with our regular IBRC trainers Jonathan Allinson and Liz Mills

Schedule of events
Friday
Arrive and settle in then group pole work session with Jonathan Allinson.

Saturday 
Private 45 minute flatwork session with Liz Mills

Sunday
Private 30 minute flatwork session with Liz Mills or you can share with a friend and have an hours training session for 2 riders. Please state on entry form if you would like a private session or to share and who you would like to share with.

Liz is happy to watch you ride a dressage test and give feedback during either of your training sessions please just ask her when you arrive for your session.Times for Friday sessions will be sent the week before camp, times for Saturday and Sunday will be given out on the Friday evening.

Included in the cost:

  • Stabling for two nights with woodchip bedding (if you require any extra bedding in your stable this must be purchased or brought with you)
  • Food – We are using Milton Keynes Caterers who will provide dinner for Friday evening, Saturday cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sunday cooked breakfast and sandwich/takeaway type lunch. Tea and coffee is available and a fridge for our use for chilling cold drinks. You will need to bring your own lunch for Friday.



What to bring:

It is advisable to bring your own tools/wheelbarrows. You will need to bring your own hay, feed and buckets.

Facilities – Milton Keynes are upgrading their facilities for the 2019 season these are included below

  • Upgraded clubhouse with heating, mains electricity for charging phones and a fridge for cooling drinks.
  • New toilet and shower block.
  • Secure and well lit stable area.
  • Plenty of hard standing with hook up available.
  • Hacking is available around the XC course, there is also an all-weather canter track.
  • Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead in all training and stable areas.
  • Turn out – Milton Keynes have a few small pens for turnout.  Please note that the fencing is electric fencing however it is not live. If you have an escape artist you must take charge of your horse and not leave him/her on their own.  All areas are to be poo picked when you take your horse out. A rota will be worked out between everyone so the horses each get a small amount of downtime in the paddocks after sessions.
     

Payment Details & Event Fees

The cost for this camp is £246, it will run on a first come first served basis and is open to members only. A deposit of £50 will be required to secure your place with the remainder to be paid 6 weeks before the first day of camp. You must already have renewed or become a member for 2019 if you are entering this camp in December 2018. Stabling Information: Yes

Stabling for two nights with woodchip bedding (if you require any extra bedding in your stable this must be purchased from Milton Keysnes EC or brought with you)

Refreshments:

We are using Milton Keynes Caterers who will provide dinner for Friday evening, Saturday cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sunday cooked breakfast and sandwich/takeaway type lunch. Tea and coffee is available and a fridge for our use for chilling cold drinks. You will need to bring your own lunch for Friday.

If you have someone coming with you they will need to provide their own food or for an additional cost of £51.50 per person the caterers will provide food as detailed above. They are welcome to use the club house to eat in if they want to provide their own food but may not use the cooking facilities in it.

Withdrawals/Refunds

You may cancel your place at camp and receive a full refund up to four weeks before the start date. Any withdrawals under four weeks of the start date will receive a full refund only if the place can be filled or a part refund of the stabling fee if the space cannot be filled. Any refund given will be minus any booking fee.

Please complete all sections of the online form fully - including special dietary requirements.

Horse aged from 4 years as of January 2019 can attend.

Family and friends are welcome to spectate, no children in the clubhouse in the evening please as this is an adult only camp.
