ENTRIES CLOSE MONDAY 8th OCTOBER ENTRIES AFTER THIS DATE WILL INCUR A £2 LATE FEE.

Team Competition: Any 4 riders from any mixture of classes 1, 3, 5 and 6 may pre-register as a team for an extra £1 per rider. Best 3 scores count.

Classes may be split or limited, depending on numbers. In Novice classes, riders may continue after three refusals provided they do not interfere with other competitors – see rules displayed at event.
Classes will close when deemed full by HHRC. Entry on the day may not be possible.

Hunter Trial Entry Fees (including paramedic fee)
Non Members individual £26, HHRC Members Individual £20.
Non Members Pairs (per pair) £44; HHRC Members Pairs £38.

A £5 RETURNABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED FOR YOUR NUMBER BIB ON THE DAY WE WILL NOT SUPPLY NUMBERS FOR USE WITH COMPETITORS OWN BIBS

Prize Information
Prizes: Classes 1-6 Rosettes 1st-6th, prizes in kind sponsored by Rollins Farm for 1st-3rd place. Team Competition Rosettes 1st-3rd, Best Member Rosettes and perpetual trophy awarded to the highest placed HHRC member, Award for best Veteran Rider over 50 years (please state eligibility on entry).

Special Classes
Horseware Ireland is sponsoring a series of Hunter Trials Qualifiers all over the country throughout the year which will culminate in The Horseware National Final which will be held at Eland Lodge, Autumn 2019.
At the final there will be classes at 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 1.00m. There will also be an 80cm Pairs class.

In order to qualify riders need to be placed 1st to 3rd in classes 3-6 having obtained a clear round (every entry automatically enters you for the qualifier no extra fee or joining fee required!). Qualified combinations will receive a special rosette and a qualifying card. Please inform us if you are riding a retrained racehorse.
Class 3 will qualify for the 70cm final.
Class 4 will qualify for the 80cm pairs final.
Class 5 will qualify for the 80cm final.
Class 6 will qualify for the 90cm final.

Terms & Conditions
ENTRY ONTO THE SHOWGROUND SIGNIFIES ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES.
1. No refunds to be given on the day. Refunds will only be given with a veterinary or doctors certificate presented within 1 week of the event, less administration fee £2.50. 2. HHRC reserves the right to change, cancel, refuse or restrict a class entry at their discretion and without explanation. 3. Maximum of two classes per horse/pony. 4. Paramedics in attendance. 5. Vet on call, please contact via secretary. 6. Any objection must be made in writing to the secretary within 20 minutes of an incident taking place and must be accompanied by a deposit of £20, which may be forfeited if the objection is overruled. 7. The Judge's decision is final. 8. Dogs to be kept on the lead and under control at all times when on the showground – PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG!!! 9. No mucking out of trailers/lorries to be carried out on the showground or in the car parking. 10. No litter is to be left on the ground, please take it home. 11. Badly behaved or dangerous animals will be asked to leave the showground. 12. Bad language, misuse of the whip and/or spurs will not be tolerated. 13. All reasonable steps will be taken by HHRC to ensure your safety. Spectators, riders and handlers attend at their own risk. 14. No Horse/Pony to be on the showground under the age of 4 years old. 15. Horses/Ponies are to be sound and disease free. 16. No lungeing anywhere. 17. Cantering only permitted in the show ring and designated warm up areas. 18. HHRC accepts no liability for any loss, damage or accident to persons, animals or property however caused. All reasonable precautions have been taken regarding Health and Safety. Rider to be of suitable size for horse/pony. 19. Back protectors and riding hats to current safety standards (NO FIXED PEAKS) must be worn at all times when mounted. 20. Medical Armbands must be worn.

DIRECTIONS:
Approach course entrance from A14 side of Alconbury village or the Stukeleys. Take road signed to Alconbury village. Go over roundabouts and through village. At T-junction at bottom of hill take the left turn into High Street. Entrance to Lorry Park is ahead at dead end under road bridge. Refreshments are available & there are toilets on site.
