Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four KBIS Insurance British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in and attend four KBIS Insurance British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule191). Horses in the class must go into the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification. The winner of a particular KBIS Insurance British Novice Competition will not automatically qualify solely as a result of that competition.

Rule 312. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule 76.6. For registered horses in GradeC which have not won a total of 375 points, (unless Age Rule applies), to be ridden by adult, associate or Junior Members. The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Senior Newcomers First Round. (Age rule applies). Please not that in accordance with the amendment to BS rule 312 all 6yr old horses are now eligible regardless of points won. But the horse must be 6yrs old in the year of the final ie. 2019 to be able to compete in the championship. Therefore any horses which are currently 6yrs old and have won more than 375 points are unable to qualify in any qualifiers held from 1st September 2018 to 31st December 2018. Qualification does not pass down the line. Riders who qualify must submit their details at www. bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

that the final is going to be held, irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear
qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of seven years or under in the same calendar
year as the Foxhunter Final – in accordance with Rule 310.6. Qualifies for: The Senior Foxhunter Second
Round. Qualifying period: 1st June-31st May inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a
clear round in the first round followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four First Round
competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in and attend four Second Rounds,
irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the
normal Table A rules (Rule191). Horses in the class must go into the jump-off and go clear to gain a

solely as a result of that competition. (A Senior 1.20m Open may be combined with a Foxhunter
