Refunds will only be given on production of a valid Veterinary or Doctor’s certificate within 14 days of the Show. An expenses fee may be retained.
1. The Judge’s decision is final. No Judge, Steward or Organiser is to be harassed in the event of a dispute.
2. Objections in writing, accompanied by a payment of £10, to be handed to the Secretary within 15 minutes of the results of a class being posted. Money will only be refunded if the objection is upheld.
3. Refunds will only be given on production of a valid Veterinary or Doctor’s certificate within 14 days of the Show. An expenses fee may be retained.
4. The organisers reserve the right to cancel or amalgamate classes depending on entries.
5. In event of cancellation the organisers reserve the right to retain £5 from the entry fee to cover expenses.
6. To help defray the cost of qualified First Aid, we charge £3 per competitor.
7. When competitors are mounted, hats complying with standard PAS 015:1998 or 2011 provided they are BSI kite marked or Inspec IC marked. VG1 01.040:201412 provided they are BSI kite marked or Inspec IC marked must be worn. Body protectors are recommended. All children 16 years and under must wear a hard while showing in-hand and it is recommended that everyone wears a hard hat to show in-hand.
8. No receiving, recording, transmitting or monitoring device may be worn by a competitor. Outside assistance will incur elimination.
9. Bad language is deemed unseemly behaviour and will incur elimination.
10. Galloping on the field is strictly forbidden
11. The practice fences MUST ONLY be jumped in the direction flagged and at the appropriate height for the classes in progress.
12. Late entries will be accepted on the field only if classes are not already full at £3.00 extra per class.
13. Dogs to be kept on leads at all times
14. No horse or pony under the age of 4 years of age to be ridden on the show ground.
15. Jewellery – in accordance with Health & Safety considerations, no competitor may enter the ring with any ear rings or facial jewellery including tongue studs.
16. It is a requirement of entry that non-British Riding Club members have their own Insurance in place.
17. No claim may be entertained against the organisers, landowner or any person acting on their behalf, for any loss, injury, damage, accident, or illness to horses, riders, spectators, or any other person or property whatsoever, howsoever caused.
