Show Information

A series of intensive two day camps with up to four ridden sessions and a variety of talks intended to deliver an improvement in confidence and competitive performance in a fun and social environment.

Small groups of up to 8 are designed to encourage riders to support and learn from each other. Riders are welcome to book just one or a series of camps. These camps will be particularly helpful for anyone with confidence or postural issues including post injury, those starting out in their competitive career, those with young or new horses or those wishing to step up a level. The format will typically include the following:
• A short lunge lesson and/or riding a prescribed test with feedback from postural specialist with option of individual treatment. You are encouraged to video this session
• Two individual lessons and test riding with BD Accredited Coach and listed judge Lindsey Dawes
• Talk from Mental Performance Coach Karen Croft of Outward Success with option of follow up individual sessions
• Talk on spotting back pain in your horse from local vet and chiropractor Nicole Nelson
• Talk on bitting from bitting expert Laura Wright
• Evening meal at end of day 1

Horses have the use of a day stable and can stay overnight but shavings are extra. The evening meal and any treatments are also extra. Horseboxes are welcome to stay overnight in our lorry park field but sorry, there is no hook up but you can use the shower and toilets in our Club room. The exact format and talk subjects is likely to vary for each camp.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Bookings in advance only. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Fairoak Grange.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Cost £260, with deposit of £75 to secure your place.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Cancellation policy would be a non-refundable deposit of £60 which secures the place on the camp. The balance of £200 plus extras is due one month before the event and if cancelled within that month then no refund will be paid but we will endeavour to carry forward the booking to the next available camp with spaces. If the camp is cancelled by Fairoak then we will refund all payments made. Fairoak retains discretion to alter the format of the camp including talks and sessions.
