All equal first in Round One will go forward to Round Two over a shortened course. For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior Members, ages in accordance with Rule 77.12 & 77.13. This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes: In the 128cms Section Junior riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of Points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of 10 years is reached. Riders who reach the age of 10 years and over in the current calendar year must not have won a total of 500 Points. (as of 01.08.2017 pony/rider combination).
In the 138cms Section, Pony riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of Points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of 12 is reached. Riders who reach the age 12 years and over in the current calendar year must not have won a total of 850 Points. (as of 01.08.2017 pony/rider combination).
Junior Riders are not eligible to enter the 138cms section until the calendar year in which their 8th birthday is reached. 128cms Ponies are not permitted to enter the 138cms section.
Once riders have competed at, or have ‘ever’ qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the Final.
Pony/rider combinations who have accrued points on the Pony Gold League are not eligible to compete in the final of this competition.
Qualifies for: Springboard Final.
Qualifying Period: 1st August-31st January.
Numbers to Qualify: Two double clears to qualify for the Final. Qualification is pony/rider combination. Ponies in the class must go into the jump-off and go clear to gain its double clear round qualification. In order to compete in the Final, all qualified competitors ages must be in accordance with the Rule 77.12 & 77.13 in the year of the Final.
No rider may compete more than three ponies in the same section.

First Aid will be charged at £5 per rider per day.
Stabling Information: Yes
Overnight stables are available from 5pm on day of arrival until 5pm on day of departure. Day stables (if available) are from 8am – 5pm. All stables must be paid for at time of booking.
A clean stable deposit of £10 per stable will be payable upon booking. You will receive a refund on inspection of your stable upon your departure. If you leave the showground without having your stable checked for your refund, you will lose your stable deposit. All hay, droppings and wet shavings must be removed. Cherwell Competition Centre enforces a strict ‘NO STRAW’ policy, only chippings/shavings allowed on site. Stables are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Once booked, refunds will only be considered on receipt of a vet’s/doctor’s certificate. Any refund will incur a £10 admin fee per box, stables are transferable.
1. The Show Organiser referred to in these Rules and Regulations shall hereinafter mean Cherwell Competition Centre. The Cherwell Competition Centre Shows will hereinafter be referred to as the Show.
2. The Show, Show Organiser, Volunteers and Officials do not accept liability for any accident, damage, injury, theft or illness to horses, riders, owners, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.
3. The Show Organiser retains as its absolute discretion the right to decline or exclude or remove any person or animal from the show or future shows or return any entry fee without being required to assign reason or being liable for any compensation.
4. Competitions – The Show Organiser reserves the right to cancel, add to, or amend any of the competitions, as they think fit, with the approval of the British Show jumping. Prizes may be withheld under rule 76.6.
5. Smoking – Smoking is not permitted within any of the showground buildings or stables. Please do not throw cigarette ends on the floor. For litter please use the bins provided.
6. Collecting Ring – All warming up must be done in the designated Collecting Rings provided. Persons found abusing horses on the showground may be asked to leave.
7. Refund of Entry – Refunds will only be in accordance with British Show jumping Rule 79.5.1.
8. Vehicles – The Show Organiser reserves the right to remove any vehicle which is obstructing any access to or from the ground even if locked and unattended. The Show Organiser will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage occasioned by such removal.
9. Dogs – Dogs are permitted on the show ground, but they must be kept on a lead at all times. If, in the opinion of the Show organiser, any person fails to control their dog/s they may be asked to leave the Showground.
10. Prize Giving – The Show organiser reserves the right to withhold prizes if competitors do not attend the Official Prize Giving.
11. Objections – Objection should be made in writing in accordance to British Show Jumping. Rule 198. Two Show Stewards will be appointed to the Show in accordance to Rule 96.2
12. Official Photographs – Any photographs taken by the Official Photographer may be used by the show organiser for promotional purposes.
13. First Aid – A total of £5 per day per competitor will be charged towards medical cover during the hours of competition.
14. Vaccination Certificate – All horses at the show must have a current and valid certificate of vaccination against Equine Influenza. There will be random checking of certificates and any horse found without a valid certificate will be asked to leave the show ground.
15. Stallions – No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any class without taking adequate precautions to ensure other persons are not put at risk of injury.
16. Close of Entries –Entries will close at the start of each class. Should space be available late entries may be accepted with an additional fee of £5 being charged per entry.
17. Entry Fees – All accounts must be settled before competitor or owner leaves the show ground. If account is not settled by the end of the event an additional admin charge of £10 will be added to the account.
18. ANY PERSON (S) & THEIR ASSOCIATES FOUND MISBEHAVING OR CAUSING DAMAGE WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE VENUE IMMEDIATELY
