No refund after closing date except in the event of cancellation by organisers, when any refund will be at the discretion of the organisers.
1. The decision of the Judges and Organiser is final.
2. NO OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE WILL BE ALLOWED WHILST IN THE ARENA.
3. All competitors MUST wear a body protector which must meet BETA 2009 Level 3
standard (purple label). Refer to the Pony Club Body Protector Rule 2018 for full details:

Riders who choose to use the Woof Wear Body Cage EXO must lodge a key with the
Secretary when they collect their number
4. All pony club competitors MUST wear medical armbands. All other competitors are advised
to wear them. A Limited Number will be available to purchase on the day.
5. All competitors MUST wear a hat conforming to the Pony Club Hat Rule 2018, see

ALL HATS MUST BE OFFICIALLY TAGGED WITH AN AQUAMARINE PC, BE OR BRC
TAG AND TAG CHECKED BY THE SECRETARY
6. For cross-country riding over fences 80cm high and above; a jockey skull cap with NO fixed
peak must be worn. It is also strongly recommended that a jockey skull cap is worn for
cross country riding over lower fences.
7. Long hair must be tied up so that the judges can clearly see numbers on bibs.
8. Age on day of competition.
9. Dogs on leads always and please clear up after them.

11. COMPETITORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PRESENTING THEMSELVES ON THEIR TIME
12.LEGAL LIABILITY. Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the
organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this
event nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts
any liability for any accident, loss, injury or negligence, breach of contract or in any other
way whatsoever.
13. HEALTH & SAFETY. The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to
ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective,
everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and
must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. The
Committee and Organisers do not hold themselves responsible for any loss, injury or illness
to any horse, rider, spectator or any other person or property.
14. Any rider competing and travelling on their own must make the secretary aware
15. Any person wishing to lodge an objection should do so in writing at the Secretary’s tent,
together with a deposit of £20.00 within 15 minutes of the results being announced
16.Any competitor will be disqualified for dangerous riding, misuse of whips or spurs, or abusive conduct towards the judges, stewards or the secretary
17.Stopwatches are not permitted
18.Warm up in designated area only - Practice fences must be jumped the correct way (red flag on the right)
19.Penalties will be awarded as follows:
First refusal = 4 penalties
Second refusal = 8 penalties
Third refusal = Elimination
Fall of horse OR rider = Elimination
Every commenced second in excess of optimum time = 1 penalty
20.Clear rounds take precedence over anyone with jumping faults and the winner will be the one nearest the optimum time with a clear round
21.All competitors take part at their own risk and are expected to exercise due care at all times and obey all notices placed for their control
22.No horses under 4 years of age may compete
23.Late entries maybe accepted on the day dependent upon availability
