Rule 279.
For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.
The course for this competition comprises six vertical obstacles placed in a straightline with two non-jumping strides between each obstacle. In indoor arenas the first two obstacles may be placed on one straight line and the last four obstacles on a different straight line. The top element of each obstacle must be a pole.
No obstacle may be set at a lower height than the obstacle preceding it.
The competition is judged under Table A not against the clock with a time limit of two minutes.
In the event of a disobedience, the competitor must restart the course at the obstacle where the error occurred, but may make his/her approach at an angle from outside the space between the obstacles and is not required or allowed to take any of the previous obstacles again.
If an obstacle is disturbed as the result of a disobedience, the procedure in Rule 251.4 must be applied, but no time penalty is incurred.
In the event of equality of faults for first place there will be up to four successive jumps-off not against the clock. The first jump-off must be over all six obstacles, but
the course may be reduced progressively for each further jump-off to a minimum of three obstacles by removing in succession first, second and third obstacles.
The Judge at his/her discretion may terminate the competition after the third jump-off. In the event of equality of faults in the final jump-off competitors are placed equal and divide the prize money.
Competitors who withdraw from or retire during a jump-off are placed equal with those who are eliminated in the same jump-off (Rules 203, 204).

For registered horses to be ridden by Full, Associate or Junior Members excluding any rider listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2017 (assigned for the qualifying Period).
Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships & Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible (excluding Veterans and Para Teams).
Qualifies for: 1.05m National Amateur Second Rounds.
Qualifying period: 1st September-31st August inclusive.
Numbers to qualify: Those horse/rider combinations which jump clear in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least five 1.05m National Amateur First Round competitions held in the qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the respective height classes at the National Amateur Championships. Horses which jump clear in the first round followed by a clear round in the jump off, in at least one 1.05m National Amateur First Round Competition held in the qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the National Amateur 1.05m Second Round competition.
The winner of a particular 1.05m National Amateur First Round Competition will not automatically qualify solely as a result of that competition.

Newcomers:
(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6
(b) For all registered horses that are six years or under at the year that the final is going to be held, irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Senior Newcomers Final - in accordance with rule 312.6 Four double clears to qualify.
Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period 1st June - 31st May inclusive.
1.10m Open:
For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.
There will be dual qualification of double clears in both sections for those horses that are eligible for the Dodson & Horrell 1.10m National Amateur First Rounds.
If combined with an open:
In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.

Entries are accepted on the day or you can enter in advance using the Secure Online Entry System.
Pre-entry for the first class in both rings is recommended via our on-line entry system or by fax.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Weston Lawns.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
BS Tickets to ride are available at a cost of £4 each.
Stabling Information: Yes
A £10 refundable mucking out deposit per stable used is included in the stable cost. Prior to departure, The Stable Manager will check that stable has been mucked out thoroughly and your deposit will then be refunded via your method of payment.
HAYLAGE MUST BE PRE-ORDERED FOR OUR SHOWS
Entries in all affiliated classes are confined to horses registered with the British Show jumping rule 79. No responsibility will be accepted by the organisers for anything that may happen to competitors, onlookers or their property, servants or anyone in connection with the event. It shall be considered a condition of entry that each entrant agrees to indemnify the organisers against any legal action arising thereto. The expense of any veterinary services rendered either on or after the Show must be born by the competitor or owner of stock. The decision of the Judges is final. If any person wishes to lodge a complaint, this must be done so in writing within 30 minutes of the incident along with a deposit of £50 (which will be returned if the complaint is upheld). The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, amend the details of the schedule should it become necessary, or to cancel any class with insufficient entries. Once a class has been entered, refunds will not be given unless in accordance with rule 79.4. In accordance with British Show jumping rule 82.21, no member shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete (or being prepared to compete) without taking adequate precautions to ensure other members of the public are not put at risk. In the event of insufficient starters, British Show jumping rule 76.6 will apply. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and be cleaned up after! British Show jumping membership cards must be presented at time of entry. British Show jumping tickets to ride are available at a cost of £4 each. Entries will not be accepted – under any circumstances – without payment. Prize money will not be paid until payment has been received for entry and must be collected on the day. Any prize money not collected on the day will be forfeited. Children must not be left on the premises unattended! If you are competing at Weston Lawns and have travelled alone, you must notify the Secretary and leave contact details in case of an emergency. Horses and Ponies must not be left tied up to the lorry / trailer unattended. ONLY STABLES BOOKED MAY BE USED. STABLES MUST BE LEFT CLEAN AND TIDY WITH BANKS UP. Rule 164.1a will be applied. (45 Second Count Down will be in operation) All competitors should make sure that when at the event they are carrying a valid passport for their horse (for identification). Any point not covered may be referred to the Secretary, whose decision is final. Drawn orders will take place at 4pm the day prior to the competition, withdrawals after this time will be charged the full entry fee. Drawn orders will be posted on our web site by 5pm the day prior to the competition. JUNIOR MEMBERS COMPETING ON HORSES ARE ONLY ABLE TO DO SO FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE CALENDAR YEAR IN WHICH THE AGE OF 12 IS REACHED
