Due to the recent bad weather and forecast for this week sadly we are going to have to cancel all jumping (clear round and working Hunter) classes for this weekends family showing show. All other classes will be going ahead as normal.

For small adults who ride ponies. Open to mares and geldings, 4 years and over. Ponies may be asked to jump a small fence at the finals. Any suitable bit. CTR Qualifier.

For horses over 148cm. Cobs may be shown hogged, plaited or unplaited. Open to stallions, mares and geldings 4 years and over. CTR Qualifier.

This is open to Thoroughbreds who have retired from racing and are now retrained. Horses must have raced and be able to show a race record. Horses will be expected to do a freestyle show at the qualifiers. Horses must be 15hh (153cm) and over. Open to geldings and mares only, 4 years and over. Blemishes are not considered. Horses must be registered with Weatherby’s General Stud book or an overseas equivalent. Riders must have reached 17years of age by 1st January 2018. The judge will not ride. CTR Qualifier. This is also a qualifier for the VHS Championships, for this they must be 12 years and over. Class will be split accordingly.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Entries in advance or on the day. To enter in advance:
A: You can enter using a Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Wing JDC.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
CTR Qualifiers, VHS Qualifiers
1. The Show Organiser referred to in these Rules & Regulations shall hereinafter mean Wing Jumping & Dressage Centre. The Wing JDC Traditional Family Showing Show will hereinafter be referred to as the Show.
2. Open to All horses and ponies
3. The Show, Show Organiser, Volunteer & Officials do not accept liability for any accident, damage, injury, theft or illness to horses, riders, owners, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.
4. The Show Organiser retains its absolute discretion the right to decline or exclue or remove any person or animal from the show or future shows or return any entry fee without being required to assign reason or being liable for any compensation.
5. Competitions: The Show Organiser reserves the right to cancel, add to, or amend any of the competitions, as they think fit.
6. Collecting Ring: All warming up must be done in the designated Collecting Rings provided. Persons found abusing horses on the showground may be asked to leave.
7. Represented Cheques or Credit Cards: Any payment that has to be represented to the bank for whatever reason will be subject to a £15.00 administration fee for each occasion.
8. Vehicles: The Show Organiser reserves the right to remove any vehicle which is obstructing any access to or from the ground even if locked and unattended. The Show Organiser will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage accasioned by such removal.
9. Dogs: Dogs are permitted but MUST be kept under control and on a lead at all times. Failure to do so may result in being asked to leave the Showground.
10. Prize Giving: the Show organizer reserves the right to withhold prizes if competitors do not attend the Official Prize Giving
11. Objections: Objection should be made in writing in accordance. Two Show Stewards will be appointed to the Show.
12. Official Photographs: Any photographs taken at the Show by the Official Photographer may be used by the Show Organiser for promotional purposes.
13. First Aid: We have first aiders on site and do not charge extra for first aid cover.
14. Vaccination Certificate: All horses at the show must have a current and valid certificate of vaccination against Equine Influenza. There will be random checking of certificate and any horse found without a valid certificate will be asked to leave the show ground.
15. Stallions: No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorized agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any class without taking adequate precautions to ensure other persons are not put at risk of injury.
16. Close of entries: Entries will close at the start of each class, to guarantee you entry before the Show.
17. All VHS qualifers will abide by the following: No galloping or spurs permitted. Basic walk, trot and canter. Clear transition must be shown. Mark system will be general: condition and movement in relation to age and turnout. Stallions handler or rider must be of 16years. Turnout in accordance with breed. Red qualification for members. Green qualification for Non-Members.
Please read carefully the General Rules & Regulations. Any person coming to the show or involved in any aspect of the meeting is deemed bound by the Rules & Regulations.
