Payment Details & Event Fees

Bookings & payment in advance. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Swallowfield Equestrian.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
Cost £25.00 per hour
Hire of Jumps: £5
Hire of Dressage Arena Boards: Free
Additional Horses: £5 each (max 4 horses)

Withdrawals/Refunds

Refunds will not be given unless we have received 24hrs prior notice.

Terms & Conditions

We would like to advise you of the following Terms & Conditions of hire. These apply to all bookings at Swallowfield Equestrian Ltd and must be agreed to by the hirer prior to any event or hire. Confirmation of any hire is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
• Hire charges must be paid for in advance using our online booking system prior to the hire date.
• Refunds will not be given unless we have received 24hrs prior notice.
• Hirers must ensure they are covered by suitable insurance and which must indemnify Swallowfield Equestrian Ltd and its owners/staff against any claim for accident, injury, loss or similar, however caused to horse, rider or spectators.
• First Aid cover will not be provided by Swallowfield EC and cannot be guaranteed to be available.
• Due to circumstances beyond Swallowfield Equestrians control, it may be necessary to change or cancel your booking. Where the change is considered major as decided by Swallowfield Equestrian, you will be offered the option to accept the change or to receive a full refund of any monies paid against the booking. Swallowfield Equestrian Ltd is not responsible for any other costs, expenses or damages which may have been incurred by the client or their guest as a result of the change.
• Hirers must adhere promptly to their allocated time slot so they don’t interfere with any other bookings.
• Use of the arena and any other associated facilities and / or equipment is entirely at the hirer’s risk.
• All hirers must leave all facilities in a clean and safe state and are responsible for poo picking the arenas after use. Please return any equipment used back to its storage area after use unless set up for the following hirer to use if requested.
• The hirer is fully responsible for any damage caused to the premises or equipment and must pay the total amount required to make good any such damage.
• All hirers are advised to check any arena or equipment before entering to ensure that it has been left in a safe condition by the previous occupant.
• All clients are deemed responsible and must ensure full compliance with relevant Health & Safety Policies.
• No horses to be left unattended outside lorries or trailers at any time
• No mucking out onto Lorry Park or feeding outside lorries or trailers
• No dogs are allowed on site
• Swallowfield Equestrian Ltd reserves the right to halt any actions which we consider to be contrary to our Health and Safety Policy or which we consider unsafe.
• There is a full site No Smoking policy throughout the yard and its associated facilities.
• All litter is to be taken home with you or disposed of in bins provided.
• Children under 16 must be supervised at all times.
• It is mandatory for all riders to wear a protective helmet to current British Standard EN1384 or PAS015 at ALL times while mounted or leading a horse on Swallowfield Equestrian Ltd property. Body protectors must be worn at all times when jumping and suitable footwear to be worn.
• All hirers are advised to bring someone with them or provide contact details in case of emergency. It is recommended that hirers carry a fully charged and working mobile phone in case of an emergency and are alone.
• All clients, their guests or any other visitor are required to adhere to commonly accepted standards of decency and good behaviour. Racial abuse, discrimination, swearing and loud or aggressive conduct will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask any person(s) to leave the premises immediately. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person without giving reason.
