Show Information
PRE-ENTRIES CLOSE THURSDAY 5PM PRIOR TO THE SHOW COMMENCING. ENTRIES ON THE DAY WELCOME.
Both horses and ponies welcome.
Classes to be in our all new all-weather Arena.
JUNIORS: A junior must be under 16 years of age and riding a pony of 14.2hh (148cms) & under. Under 16s riding 14.3hh & over are not eligible to compete in this section.
SENIORS: A senior is 16 years old & over, & riding a horse of any height, or a rider of any age riding a horse 14.3hh and over. Under 16s riding 14.3hh & over should compete in this section.
Please report to the secretary’s office on arrival. The course will be available for walking approximately 15 minutes before the start of each class. When you are ready, go to the warm up arena and begin warming up. Please note that for safety purposes, fences should be jumped with the red marker on your right hand side as you approach the fence. Give your number to the steward, and you will be called for your round in order.
Please avoid gathering in the warm up arena and blocking access. This arena is intended for competitors to warm up in, not to stand around waiting.

Clear round classes: £7.00 and includes a rosette
Unaffiliated classes: WR Members £15.00, Non-Members £17.00 (unaffiliated)

Special Classes
The Sunshine Tour is a fun and exciting National Championship Series for unaffiliated and amateur competitors of all ages and abilities. The Championships are held on the ‘hallowed turf’ of The All England Showground at Hickstead from Thursday 14th – Sunday 17th September 2017.

The Championship features: Dressage from Intro to Elementary, including Junior ‘Special’; Show Jumping from 30cm to 1.05m for minis, juniors & seniors; Showing for lead rein, first ridden, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more; Eventers Challenge starting at 60cm through to 1m.

To qualify: 1st to 6th in eventers challenges and 1st to 4th placed in dressage, show jumping & showing. Further information available at www.sunshinetour.co.uk or follow us on Facebook – Sunshinetouruk

Terms & Conditions
Please note that entries may be limited to 30 in a class. Please check the website for full Terms & Conditions of entry. By completing and signing an entry form, or making an on-line entry via the secure on-line entry system, you are accepting the Terms & Conditions and agree to abide by them.
i) All competitors should wear a correctly fastened hat to the current BHS Standards at all times when mounted on the show ground.
ii) All dogs should be kept on a lead at all times.
iii) All horses or ponies, when outside the arena, should be moved at the walk only, to ensure the safety of all spectators and pedestrians.
iv) Children under the age of 16 years should be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years, who will be held responsible for their behaviour and welfare.
v) Please note that flash photography is strictly forbidden. Mobile phones should be switched off during competitions. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on site
vi) For safety reasons, the gate across the main driveway must be kept closed at all times.
vii) No refunds after close of entries. Refunds before close of entries will receive 50% of entry fee.

Although every effort will be made to ensure the safety of participants, horse riding is a risk sport and therefore, Wellington Riding and its staff cannot accept responsibility for any accident, damage or injury to horses, riders, owners or other persons or property.
If weather conditions are extreme, please ring and check in case of cancellation.
