Please note that in accordance with the amendment to BS Rule 310 all 7 year old horses are now eligible regardless of points won, but the horse must be 7yrs old in the year of the final ie 2018 to be able to compete in the championship. Therefore any horses which are currently 7yrs old and have won more than 700 points are unable to qualify in any qualifiers held from 1st October 2017 to 31st December 2017. No point is awarded for an obstacle knocked down. Faults other than a knockdowns are penalised as for Table A and any of these faults, including time faults, are converted into points and deducted from any jumping points scored. The last fence on course will be an alternative fence with one part acting as the ‘Joker’ fence. Double points are awarded for the Joker but if knocked down these points will be deducted from the total.

Terms & Conditions
1. All horses must be registered with the British Show Jumping. 2. The Show, Show Organiser, Volunteer and Officials do not accept liability for any accident, damage, injury, theft or illness to horses, riders, owners, and spectators or any other person or property whatsoever. 3. The Show Organiser retains as its absolute discretion the right to decline or exclude or remove any person or animal from the show or future shows or return any entry fee without being required to assign reason or being liable for any compensation. 4. Competitions – The Show Organiser reserves the right to cancel, add to, or amend any of the competitions, as they think fit, with the approval of the British Show jumping. 5. Rule 76.6 will be applied for all classes 6. Collecting Ring – All warming up must be done in the designated Collecting Rings provided. Persons found abusing horses on the showground may be asked to leave. 7. Refund of Entry and Stable Fees – Refunds will only be in accordance with BSJA Rule 79.5.1. Any Stable Bookings are NON REFUNDABLE. 8. Represented Cheques or Credit Cards – Any payment that has to be represented to the bank for whatever reason will be subject to a £15.00 administration fee for each occasion. 9. Vehicles – The Show Organiser reserves the right to remove any vehicle which is obstructing any access to or from the ground even if locked and unattended. The Show Organiser will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage occasioned by such removal. 10. Dogs – Dogs are permitted but must be kept under control at all times and cleared up after. 11. Objections–Objection should be made in writing in accordance to BSJA Rule 198. 12. Official Photographs – Any photographs taken at the show by the Official Photographer may be used by the Show Organiser for promotional purposes unless written objection is given on entering. 13. First Aid – Cover £4 per day per competitor will be charged towards medical cover during the hours of competition. 14. Vaccination Certificate – All horses at the show must have a current and valid certificate of vaccination against Equine Influenza. There will be random checking of certificates and any horse found without a valid certificate will be asked to leave the show ground 15. Stallions – No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorized agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any class without taking adequate precautions to ensure other persons are not put at risk of injury. 16. Any alcohol consumed either in the restaurant, on the patio or in any Vale View building must have been purchased from the Vale View Restaurant.
