Championship – Second Round. Qualifying period yearly 1st May-30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify:
Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at
least four KBIS Insurance British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify
to compete in and attend four KBIS Insurance British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their
placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules
(Rule191). Horses in the class must go into the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round
qualification. The winner of a particular KBIS Insurance British Novice Competition will not automatically
qualify solely as a result of that competition

Rule 314. To be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. (a)For
Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 225points. Four Double Clears will qualify – in
accordance with Rule314.6. (b) For all horses that are five years or under at the year that the final is
going to be held, irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to
Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Discovery
Final – in accordance with Rule 314.6. Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship
Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses which

Rule 312. Entry qualifications to be ridden by Adult, associate or
Junior Members. (A) For Registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four
double clears will qualify – in accordance with rule 312.6. (B) For all registered horses that are six years or
under at the year that the final is going to be held, irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for
double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of six years or under
in the same calendar year as the Senior Newcomers Final – in accordance with rule 312.6 Four double
clears to qualify. Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers second Rounds. Qualifies for:
Connolly’s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers Second Round. Qualifying period 1st June – 31st May inclusive.

Blue Chip Karma Performance Qualifier (1.20m)

Rule310. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule 76.6. For registered horses in grade C which have not won a total of 700 points,(unless age rule applies), to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Equitop Myoplast Senior Foxhunter first round. (age rule applies). Please note that in accordance with amendment to BS rule 310 all yr old horses are now eligible regardless of points won, but the horse must be 7yrs old in the year of the Final ie 2018 to be able to compete in the Championship. Therefore horses any horses which are currently 7yrs old and have won more than 700 points are unable to qualify in any qualifiers held from 1st October 2017 to 31st December 2017. Qualification does not pass down the line. Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

Blue Chip Dynamic B&C Championship Qualifier (1.25m - 1.30m)

Rule 304. Horses / Ponies may only compete in one section. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule 76.6. For registered Horses in Grades B&C to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. This is a handicap class, the Grade B start height is 1.30m and the Grade C start height is 1.25m. The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump a clear in the first round. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the National B&C Handicap Championship. Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.
