Rule - 76.6 Open to non-registered or British Showjumping Club competitors, horses and ponies. Riders of any age are allowed on ponies. Stallions are not permitted to jump in any Club classes. Qualifying period: 1st July 2016 to 30th June 2017 Numbers to qualify: The Top 20 from each of the four height category league tables, will qualify for the National Club Championships held at the British Showjumping National Championships. Club registered horse(or pony)/rider combinations are eligible to qualify and in more than one height category. Points 1st = 12, 2nd = 10, 3rd = 8, 4th = 6, 5th = 4, 6th = 3. Double Clear Points = 3. Points are allocated depending on the number of starters; every one in five starters is eligible for points. If you gain a double clear you will receive three points regardless of starters.

Rule - 76.6 For registered horses to be ridden by Full, Associate or Junior Members excluding any rider listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2016 (assigned for the qualifying period) and any horse/rider combination listed on the British Showjumping Silver League as of 31st March 2016 (assigned for the qualifying Period). Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships & Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible (excluding Veterans and Para Teams). Qualifies for: 85cms National Amateur Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st September-31st August inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump clear in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in one Dodson & Horrell 85cms National Amateur First Round competition held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in any of the Dodson & Horrell National Amateur 85cms Second Round competitions, irrespective of their placing for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule191) Horses in the class must go into the jump-off and go clear in order to gain a double clear round qualification. The winner of a particular Dodson & Horrell 85cms National Amateur First Round Competition will not automatically qualify solely as a result of that competition. Those horses which jump clear in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least five Dodson & Horrell 85cms National Amateur First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the Dodson & Horrell 85cms National Amateur Championship.

Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four KBIS Insurance British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in and attend four KBIS Insurance British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification. The winner of a particular KBIS Insurance British Novice competition will not automatically qualify solely as a result of that competition.

Rule 314. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule - 76.6 Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 225 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 314.6. b) For all horses that are five years or under at the year that the final is going to be held, irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Discovery Final - in accordance with Rule 314.6 Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four First Round competitions held in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in and attend four Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). After close of entries no further entries will be accepted until the day of the show in person.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Competitors may book in advance or on the day subject to availability.
We will allow entries to be kept open until the end of the show only where payment details can be provided. Entry fees will be deducted at the end of each day. (Does not apply for pre-entry only classes)

Entries made on the day, will be subject to an additional £2 late entry fee per class.

Prize Information
All prize money is paid by BACS to the rider. Bank account number and sort code must be provided for this purpose. Prize money is usually paid a few days following the close of the show.

Withdrawals/Refunds
In line with BS rule 79.5 cancellations received by noon 48 hours before the first day of the competition will have 50% of the entry fees refunded. After this time, no refunds will be given

IMPORTANT – Rules pertaining to the Health & Safety of all persons at Wellington Riding.
i) All competitors should wear a correctly fastened hat to the current BSI Standards at all times when mounted on the show ground.
ii) All dogs should be kept on a lead at all times.
iii) All horses or ponies, when outside the arena, should be moved at the walk only, to ensure the safety of all spectators and pedestrians.
iv) Children under the age of 16 years should be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 yrs, who will be held responsible for their behaviour and welfare.
v) Please note that flash photography is strictly forbidden. Mobile phones should be switched off during competitions. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on site
vi) For safety reasons, the gate across the main driveway must be kept closed at all times.
vii) In line with BS rule 79.5 cancellations received by noon 48 hours before the first day of the competition will have 50% of the entry fees refunded. After this time, no refunds will be given.

Although every effort will be made to ensure the safety of participants, horse riding is a risk sport and therefore, Wellington Riding and its staff cannot accept responsibility for any accident, damage or injury to horses, riders, owners or other persons or property.
